Yesterday my wife and I decided to travel to one of the big home improvement stores. It is about a 35 mile car trip. She dressed in casual weekend clothing,I was in 90% percent fem mode as far as my clothing.Silky black pantys, fishnet hose under my snug girl jeans, over the calf black fashion boots worn over the jeans.Topped off with bra, enhancers, and a paisley patterned pull over 3/4 sleeve blouse.Since it was cool and rainy I also had on a grey hoody that could be for either sex.She offered no comments, good or bad.
Before leaving I applied some light makeup, Foundation, powder, blush, eye shadow, eyeliner and red lipstick. Had my hair down and put on some dangly ear rings. Again no comment from her.
We arrived the the store about 11:30 AM.The place was very busy. We were there to pick up a new ceiling fan and light.Did that first and then we walked through the store just looking at stuff, picked up a few small items. Then on to the Garden center for some bedding plants she wanted for her flower beds. Must have passed by a hundred people with no visible reaction. It did seem that I may have received more smiles from women then usual, and I did my best to return a sincere smile myself. Checking out went as smooth as could be,the clerk engaging us both in some idle chatter.
Then on to lunch at at a very crowded KFC.again smooth sailing there too.
Last stop at JC Pennys, wife wanted to look for an outfit for an upcoming wedding we will attend. It was so fun looking through the selections and I actually found a top that she liked, tried on and selected for her new outfit.Very odd that she liked something that I liked also,A rare occurrence in our almost 35 years together.I did notice 2 young men at Pennys looking through the womens sale racks, they left the area as my wife and I got closer to them.Hope it was not us that made them abandon their search.
I felt that it was a very successful outing and really enjoyed myself.
Just wanted to share and encourage others that going out does not have to be scary or nerve racking. I felt very comfortable and enjoyed just being myself.
