Hubby has been cd'ing for his whole life. I found out after 14 years together. I found his clothes, thought he was cheating. It broke my heart, but I was smart enough to talk to him and found out it was him cd'ing.
I'd never been so happy, as I myself am bi. I now have the best of both worlds, a husband and and a wife!
Curious questions: what do DADT, GG and others mean?

Hi, Nikki...welcome. As you spend time here you'll find that that most of the cd's here will be green with envy that your husband has an accepting wife. Many us do not.
It seems like there was a glossary here somewhere that defined all these abbreviations but I can't seem to find it. DADT is "don't ask---don't tell", "GG" is 'genetic girl"or 'genuine girl."

Nikki,
Welcome to the forum. You will find a lot of useful information here both from your point of view and your husbands point of view. I am happy that you are supportive of your husband since there are so many women that don't feel the same way you do.

Welcome to the group Nikki. DADT means Don't Ask and Don't Tell. GG means a genetic girl.

I am a very open person and enjoy things being "different." Our marriage before the cd'ing was discovered was on the rocks because he was struggling to balance his femme side and masculine side all while hiding it from me. He was certain I would leave him. When he admitted it to me, I could see his heart breaking as he knew in his mind it was over between us. I sure surprised him! Its been great since.

Welcome, Nikki! Glad you are being supportive. Out of curiosity, how long has it been since you've discovered his other side?

Welcome to the site, Nikki. Thanks for sharing that sweet story about your initial talk with him and being able to see the heartbreak of the idea of losing you in his eyes. What a dramatic emotion swing from heartbreak to acceptance. Bless your heart!
While someone earlier correctly mentioned that not all wives and SO's are accepting, I think it's important to know that many are very accepting. I have an accepting girlfriend, and have had other relationships where my crossdressing was open and accepted. So you're not alone by any means.
Again, welcome to the site.

Hi Nikki! Welcome to the forum. I think your fears were legit, I think any woman who finds a stash of Women's clothing automatically thinks the same thing and why wouldn't they? Our biggest fear here is actually telling the one we love the most about this and depending on the girl and situation, a lot of times it doesn't turn out as well as it did for you and yours. Someone finding our stash I think would be a close second for the very reason you mentioned. Luckily I have a very understanding SO and I have been really lucky all around. I hope you enjoy your stay here :D

Hi Nikki. Please post an intro in the introduction section under the GG only too. I am closing this thread as it really belongs in the intro section but don't want Nikki to lost the replies. :)
