So back in August of last year, my family and friends were hit by the NOT-SO great flood of Louisiana. Took 6 ft in my home and 2 ft in my office...well when the water receded and we got back to the house one of our biggest concerns before anyone else showed up was collectiong all my shoes and lingerie
So now the question was what to do with them..we just could not put them in the pile of debri in the front yard.....well at night we slipped around the area droping bits and pieces here and there...im sure people were like where did these size 14 stiletos come from!
And then at my shop had the problem kept shoes and outfits with makeup and wig here for nights when I was alone I could dress up so repeat above process...I hate that I lost all my stuff but I do get a giggle when I can from this memory

Sadly not a single item, the house stayed under water for 5 days so it was a complete loss of all my femme and male clothes, actually bout my first replacement outfits and heels 3 weeks ago.....felt so GOOD

So after this flood you decided to litter all over your neighborhood instead of just finding a dumpster or something?

no littering, just stuck it on people house contents piles in front of the houses, example my pile was 5 ft tall 10 ft deepand approximately 250 ft long, these piles went on for thousands of mile in our area and surrounding communities
. every single appliance, all furniture, clothes, walls flooring, and the 250' did not include my 6 cars and truck and 4 motorbikes.....

Sandy, I am very sorry for the loss of your clothing. While I allegedly live in a swamp that is supposed to be drained, I don't worry about floods.

Sandy, that's rough. I've been through flood damage twice. Nowhere near as bad as yours but enough to drive us out of the house for a couple of months each time while repairs were made.
I just have to ask though... Have you submitted that unusual insurance claim yet? :)
