If anyone has seen the Honda commercial, they know what "me time" is. I finally have an opportunity to be me, Sabrina! I have been under a lot of pressure lately, and the relief valve opened and alleviated that pressure. Right now I am fully dressed with nails done, smelling sweet and just being a girl! I have had several glasses of wine to complement my appearance. OMG, it feels so exquisite to be this way!! If I thought that I could pass a sobriety check, I would go out to celebrate. Well, I am celebrating with all of you here.
Love, Sabrina

I know what a relief you feel.
It's something that I feel not understanding but is good.
So you add some glasses of wine...perfect!

So next time look for someone to drink the wine but outside...that's delicious too...
congratulations!

Glad you got some "me" time! I, like you, don't know why but it relieves the stresses of life! Hugs Lana Mae

Hi Sabrina,

I'm so happy for you! I know how you feel - I'm looking forward to some serious Beth time in a couple of weeks and I can't wait! So enjoy it to the max!

There are few things better, I just found I've got an extra day to myself this weekend! Hope the wine is having its desired effect!

Good for you! Me time is a way of taking care of yourself. Very important!

Sabrina,
I agree with all the others, ME TIME is very important. I find dressing up as an anti-depressant, without any side effects. I am getting close to another trip out.
Enjoy the feeling, and catch it when you can.

I can REALLY identify with the "me time" thing. My wife and I have come to a compromise concerning my dressing so my "Me Time" is very important to me.

I'm getting some much needed me time today, my house guests, (son and GF) are heading off for a few days, my wife is going out for a meal with her work mates, so it'll give me time to glam up for when she comes home, then a few relaxing drinks together, she knows and appreciates my need for me time

I can associate with this, in the early days ME time was very important and I always looked forward to any upcoming session.

These days ME time is all the time and has lost a little of it's impact.

Never lose the enthusiasm.

Yes, celebrate. I shop for dresses in drab without a care. Even just that is me time.
Wish i was you right now.

My "Me Time" was at Keystone, basically 5 days of all girl, all the time. I didn't even bring any boy clothes with me.

Usually, I have a lot of trouble returning to enforced boy mode right after coming home. But this time I was so elated that I was almost "high" for a week or so after returning. One GG friend at work who only knew that I'd been on vacation for a week even asked me only half jokingly if I was partaking of "brownies". Yes, those kind of brownies. Me time is so awesome.
