Have any of you ladies every thought about being a "pin up girl" and putting it on a poster then hanging on your wall.

It is my favorite style, but I have never thought of doing a poster

Neck down ok, maybe. Photoshop head, maybe, reality, monster in a dress. How bout one of those old movie posters i could have planes shooting makeup remover at me and army men trying to blast my skirt with tanks.

My girlfriends had one of me hanging up on the back of their bedroom door.......
I was twenty when it was taken and I was wearing a short red dress and high heels to match.
I was sporting my own blond hair i a coconut style, quite short.
It was a good style as I was able to go from girl to boy quite easily.
Ooh! do you mean without clothes?
That was taken when I was six months old. :-)

Love all the pin-up girl art.

I've always loved the look of pin up art, especially Alberto Vargas.
That being said, NO, I am not going to be the model for a poster shoot. I'd break the camera lens.......

If I could at least approach the "look" of a Vargas girl, I'd do it in a heart beat.

I love the USAF nose art they used in ww2, so maybe with the right outfit, an army of make up specialists, and some one very good at digital image manipulation, why not?

Vargas, WW2 nose art, or the famous Betty Grable WW2 poster...something to aspire to but that plane has long flown into the sunset!

I'm sure we've all thought of it at some time, but not that many of us have the figure or appearance to be able to do it.
I know I'd love to, say maybe at a makeover session with a photographer, but I know I just don't have the shape to make it look appealing.

I would sell my species out to aliens to look good enough to do that.

Yes! And, I plan to create a "Sherry Calendar" with pin up shots like this one day-----:daydreaming:

You just know they're monitoring the interwebs, will see my post, and soon approach me with their superadvanced body transmorphing technology.

I was told growing up by my mom that I was born in the wrong era, I like 40's- the 60's time period. Like the clothes and music.

A couple of months ago, I suggested a bit of fun for the group. My idea was to take an image from an iconic pin up artist like Frahm or Elvgren and photograph yourself interpreting that image. It wouldn't have to be identical. My wife and I are working on it an I want to post my photo by Thanksgiving. I'm going to do this image. What fun!

There is a pinup photographer outside of Philly that I would love to have do a makeover on me but she books weeks in advance and I don't know my schedule but maybe someday. Being realistic that showing that much skin would need heavy retouching I would go for something modest but for that period. She has an old 50's/60's salon set up in her studio so i would love a scene like that with rollers in my hair but makeup done perfectly...

Yes - if I had a physique worthy of it I would love to do some lingerie shots.
I don't remember if it was when I was still in high school but once I had a dream that I was pictured in the yearbook pulling up my skirt and showing of my panties while standing next to my car with the door open. The caption read, "Going all the way!" stating that I (my name) went even as far as wearing panties when I dressed. It was a good dream!

Yes, it is my dream to do something like that. I would like to pose exactly like Gaye Rennie (Playmate of the Month April 1968) did in her centerfold.

I've thought about it but I haven't done a proper lingerie photo shoot yet, but I'd like to do that someday

I would love to simply do the shoot (no poster for me, lol).
But alas, my sizing is most definitely NOT conducive to me feeling good about such a photo shoot. Indeed, my wife has to talk pretty fast to get me to even let her take my picture, much less post them here. Perhaps when I've lost more weight I will feel better about it.
Not that I don't already have a 50s-60s 'housewife' dress with crinolines. ;)

Joni,
Shoot, we should have been talking. My makeover artist for Christmas had a gal come to Cincy in May. Jesswphotography.com She was doing pin up shoots for like $200 or $250. My timing didn't work out or I would have gone. You should contact her, she gets into cincy like once a year. That would be a lot of fun for you and greeneyes!

I have tried to take pictures of me front, back, sideways, top looking down and I can't get a good picture of me so no poster of me thank you
but there again we are looking into getting a shed for my stuff tools and such maybe I could do one put it right near the door as you come in and she would never come into the shed ever.

Roslyn,
I've painted myself into one of my paintings, the picture was put in an exhibition and is still for sale. Otherwise I've done a couple of self portraits which i would like to put on my wall, my wife will have other ideas.

Poster, no. But it's sort of on my crossdressing bucket list to get a pinup makeover and photoshoot. I have the connections just not the nerve.

I absolutely love pin up art. My favorite artist is Art Frahm (http://www.messynessychic.com/2016/04/01/the-mysterious-art-of-the-falling-panties/) He did a series of ladies in distress who are carrying items like grocery bags, typically with celery in them, in public. A wind kicks up and their panties simultaneously fall down while onlookers, typically male, smile at the results. While I have never done a printed poster, I have done a few photoshopped pics inspired by the work of Frahm and posted them to a some adult sites. Here are a couple of them cleaned up a bit for this site.

This is a great idea. OK, where to you go to find the vintage wardrobe to pull it off? Ideas ladies? Lots of cool period propping helps too. Looking forward to doing this. Iris
