I'm not. I have ave come to terms with I'm transgender. I wear what I like and it works for me. Like yesterday I wore the same outfit all day jean mini skirt, pink see through tank top, pink bra underneath and a pink jean jacket. I did change my shoes during the day. I stopped by the bar in the evening for one drink and visit with my friends. I'm sitting at the bar talking with two of my girlfriend's and this girl who is playing pool comments how she couldn't wear a skirt as short as mine. You could take what she said to me as complement or just girls being catty because I have this model like body. Yes my friends rolled her eyes when I order diet drinks. But then again they're use to me, just like I am. My point is why be embarrassed for who you are, just be who you are and accept it.

Jean,
Once you enter the comfort zone and can say this is me dressed as I choose to dress , Ok with some regards for your surroundings then there is nothing to be embarrassed about. It's not an act, I personally want to be seen and accepted as a woman and it's finally beginning to happen , of course I'm not passing as a woman but as a transgendered person in her own right . In that context we have a place in society !

That is the thing.. you are not doing it for them, you are doing it for YOU. You are not trying to make a point, other than that you are you, and you have the right to exist and be happy.
Does it take some bravery to be that bold? Yes, it does.. but the alternative is (IMHO) worse.
