Love my beach miles to walk without seeing
Any one ..., I went for a long walk yesterday
Black bikini bottoms way skimpy than
I usely would wear .... top was no more
Than a push up bra would cover and a
Mesh beach cover up....,

I was walking no one around at all
So I did it..., took the cover up off
Then off with the top..., skimpy bikini
Bottom .,. That's all long blonde and silver
Hair blowing in the warm air ......,

I felt wicked relaxed ... warm air sun
Loveing it big time .... now I am in the water
Abought knee deep ...,

What could go on to stop this. ????
I hears atv coming fast my top and cover up
Up on the beach to keep from getting wet
I start to get out ou the water....
when the park ranger pulls up .....,

Mam .... she said there is no nudeity
On the beach .... you can't be toppless
I said ok and got my top ...,she said
I am going to give you a warning ..,
She got her ticket book out ...,

Name ? I said paul... she said Paula?
No paul I said she stoppped looked
At me and give me the look like wtf ....
She said sorry I thought ..... never mind
I said do I need to put my top on ??

She said what ever .... and rode off...

Sorry Folks but I'm not amused by this one.

Wendy, you obviously intended to present as female by wearing the bikini. Then, when confronted with breaking the rules want to assert your male gender to get away with it?

You can't have it both ways.

You can't have it both ways.

Actually, in this case, he can. The laws are written such that a ticket would be dismissed.

Good one Wendy. Linda, whether her intent was to present as a woman, monkey, or eagle is not the issue. She was asked by a Park Ranger, legally empowered to enforce park rules, and Wendy complied with the Ranger's request. Also, she told the truth when asked. Would you have her lie to the Ranger and obviously break the laws? I really do not understand your point of view. Please clarify with more details please.

Wendy,

Wow, that would have been awesome. I wish I had a beach close by where I could walk along the beach in my bikini or lay out...

Funny thing is she didn't show up till after you took your top off... So was she spying on you or did someone else call them? I don't believe in random.

Nothing wrong with subverting the patriarchy's own insane rules (obsession with sex assigned at birth) to get away with subverting the patriarchy's own insane rules (that it is somehow ok for men to be topless, but not women).

Sorry Girls, but nothing anybody has posted has changed my position.

I still think she was wrong for wanting to have it both ways.

Wendy was dressing and posing as a woman. She wanted all the privileges of being female. From the post it would appear that she passes without question. Then when she doesn't want to follow the societal rules assigned to women she flaunts them. When caught breaking those rules she runs to her birth gender and claims male privilege!

Am I the only one who sees the hypocrisy in this?

Wendy me
06-23-2017, 09:21 AM
Linda.. I was not getting away with anything
Yes I was dressed in my bikini my long hair
Big girly sunglasses light make up and
Red lipstick ... for sure I was ...

Now when the ranger asked for my name
I told the truth Wendy is not my leagle
Name so not being truthful could have got
Me arested ...

Was I wrong to be dressed in a bikini
And then get toppless yes I was but tell the truth
It was wicked ausme totally cool ... exciting
A rush for sure .... standing there toppless
Ranger right there ... omg pounding heart

Wrong as I could be for sure ...fun as hell
Will I do that again ???? It's going to be a long summer
I just might .., but I will tell you I will be
A lot more careful ....

I don't see any hypocrisy in Wendy's actions.
The hypocrisy is in the societal norm that says that the female breast is shameful but that the male's is not AND in those that support and entrench that position.
Also anyone simultaneously seeking to subvert societal notions of gender conformity and then assert arbitrary notions of how women should behave... now THAT is hypocrisy imho.

Dani,
Thank you for putting it so well. The laws, and the "societal norms" from which they were born, are what is screwed up. I can bare my chest, even if I have breasts, provided that I have a penis, but not if I don't. WTF?

Eva Bella

I totally agree with Danitgirl1

The absolutely ridiculous thing is that men are allowed to be topless but women are not. It's a out-dated double standard. Either all people (male & female) are allowed to be topless, or they're not. I can't believe that these laws exist in so many places in the United States.

Nikki A.
06-23-2017, 03:09 PM
I don't know how I feel about this. On one hand, yes it is a double standard that ought to be addressed. But on the other hand the rules are what they are and you were presenting as a woman and you should have left your top on.
As far as the ranger goes, you're right. You gave him your legal name.
On the other hand I've seen some guys that should be covered up on top lol

U r quite lucky actually, Wendy. When I was busted by police that were summoned as I filmed a topless scene in public, I had already changed back into male attire when one showed up. No wig, makeup, etc.

However, I was still wearing my female suit under it all. So, I showed him a glimpse of a silicone breast and he looked like he'd seen a unicorn fly by! Not wanting to get involved in whatever I was or was doing, he gave me a verbal warning and drove off ASAP.

I just see this as a waste of manpower. Regardless whether it is right or wrong, legal or not, if a woman is jogging topless and no one is around it is logically ridiculous to make a big deal about it. No need to ask for ID and personal information.

Americans are such prudes. In Europe, it wouldn't have warranted to be an issue. In America, you get stopped for wearing a bikini bottom, which many men do in other parts of the world, and your top is exposed. OMG. What a messed up country we live in. Yet, so much of prime time television, which many kids are exposed to nightly, is absolute garbage and espouses morals and values that are the antithesis of civilized society. Go figure. I'm sure I'm going to get reamed by saying this, but it's true.

Yes, I'm TG and therefore a target for societal norms, but how to act and treat one another via being taught by crazy screen writers seen on T V is much different than seeing a woman with her boobs exposed or a crossdressers.com with a bikini top off. Jeez!

Beach patrol was probably low on ticket writing and hunting to make the daily quota, otherwise probably would not have even bothered you.

Surely there are more important crimes to investigate than a lone topless swimmer on a otherwise abandoned section of beach..............

If I were on watch I would not engage topless bathers unless a complaint came in for doing something really, really lewd

I'm a lawyer so I can argue both sides of anything, but I may agree with Linda. We all want to present as women and use the ladies room based upon that presentation. However, when in the beach equivalent of the ladies room, Wendy bails and gives here male name. I get it, regarding the legal name. But I figure if you present as a women, you are a women.

I guess from what you and others are saying is that it would make you and the other the dissenters happy if Wendy lied to the Park Ranger?? If the Park Ranger then hassled her and maybe gave her some type of ticket, or made a bigger scene than necessary, that would make all of you even happier. Now please tell us exactly what you would have done in Wendy's situation. Yes, she took off her top on a deserted beach. Who was she offending if no one was there except a nosy Park Ranger who also could have left her well enough alone, or just asked her to put her top back on. However, going back to the original post, who the hell cares what she is wearing, because legally, not your collective view of what is correct in your world, she was OK. Maybe you would also feel better if she also wore a bigger cover up top and less skimpy bikini bottoms. You know so as not to give you who may or may not have ever gone to the beach in a women's bikini, one piece or tankini, a bad name, or even worse our TS sisters here and there.

Wendy did not bail, she followed the law that says it is a minimum of a misdemeanor if she lies to a police official, which I believe a Park Ranger is, having the power to arrest and give out tickets on Park controlled or managed land. You all are making a really big deal over a simple, harm no one, except maybe your own sense of correctness, situation that was quickly resolved with no hard feelings on anyone's part. The beach is no way near being like a ladies room. If someone dresses as a woman is that illegal, what about when they have a beard, or wear a skirt and no top? You all can complicate life as you wish, but it really is a waste of others time and serves what purpose for the greater world? To me it leans toward those that do not accept us and who believe that we shouldn't exist and definitely should not be let out of our cages to interact with the real world. Fashion police??

I am not saying that you have to like what she and many others do. However, to criticize her as some of you have done makes no sense. What would you say or do if you saw a hot young girl doing the same on a deserted beach except for you? As someone said above, some of us Americans are some of the most prudish people around when compared to other countries. We really need to just relax and enjoy our own lives and not let a rare situation like this ruin our day.

Perhaps all women should just wear a veil and a long black dress with long sleeves...
Men should wear a robe that covers them from neck to ankle...
And then we can stone men dressing as women???
How does that sound????

Ok let's go back if I had said my name is Wendy.
Got a ticket ... or arrested ... then I might
Have got into trouble for saying I was a
Femail ....

Now I have been stopped driveing
And gave the police man my license
And regesation ... and totaly dressed
And makeup done ... and had the cop
Look at my license and me .. and said that's me
Took care of why I got stopped and been on my way

It dose you no good to lie when you have
A encounter with law offercers ... just
Not a good practice a good way of starting
Trouble for your slefe ....

"We all want to present as women" - No, we do not. Crossdressers are not a monolithic group with the same set of views and objectives. And gender identity is not binary, nor is it mutually exclusive between so-called male and female traits. I don't wear women's clothing to fool people into thinking I am a woman, I just like to express my feminine side while still presenting as an otherwise typical male. And I proudly and publicly wear women's bikini bottoms and coverups in male mode all the time.

Good thing the park ranger didn't mistake you for a whale. You could have been harpooned.

Wendy, do whatever you can to diffuse a sticky situation. One does whatever is best at the situation they find themselves in. Hindsight is 20/20

I have read all the comments on this and they are made from ones personal observation of the situation, I loved it ,but I think the ranger excercised " discretion is the better of valor " if the state wendy lives in is highly supportive of the t/g community she could have opened up a real can of worms !, I spent many years in alaska before moving down to care for my wife the last 10 yrs there was spent in a form of risk management many is the time I overlooked something for the greater good and indeed I could have done plenty in those situations but it would have been over the top overkill as it were other than that I would have loved to see that rangers face

I have a semi private beach I like.I wear my bikini, I lay out nude , but I don't usually go there when school is out and there is eole waking about.
I have been pulled over by state trooper in N.C. on my motorcycle while dressed as a lady, he was going to write me a ticket by finally admitted he wanted to check out my bike and got more than he'd bargained for when I took off my helmet. He had me sit in the front seat of his car (probably so the camera could get a good picture, sending it back to the station) all in all he was very polite and we had a few laughs he wrote me a warning to justify the stop and let me go on my way. That was intresting.
