I love going into a club or party getting dressed up and everybody saying "omg you're meant to be...*insert character here" lol it makes me feel great about myself.
Post pics of yours :)
Here are a few of mine
Can you tell who each one is meant to be?

Not as Cosplay or a character per se except maybe for Halloween. Otherwise I'm quite a "character" in my own right Hon. :battingeyelashes::)

I'll be dressing up as Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter films tonight, to cosplay at a local minor league baseball game where they are doing a Harry Potter Night. I'll post a pic once I'm dressed up, this afternoon.

I have no idea of any of the characters in your pics but the pics are cute.
Never saw a reason to dress up as character.

Like others I think the pictures really are cute and displays a lot of character and expression if you will, no pun intended.

Personally the only time I would feel compelled to dress up in character manner would be @ Halloween or other themed parties.

Have fun be yourself though, not knocking it

Having grown up often wearing a cute blue sailor girl dress, when I found the sailor moon costumes on ebay, I wanted one. I found a vendor that would make one in my size, and ordered one. I chose this Sailor Mars one, mostly red and white with a purple trim. 279332 Price was $189 plus shipping. A bit expensive, but hey, we only live once. May as well spend it in the prettiest things we can! I wear it with white knee high lace up boots.

I"ve never dressed up as a character, but I have done my makeup to look like Ahri from league of legends. Been thinking about trying it again now that I have actual long black hair instead of having to use a wig.

I got a few cosplay outfits and will be adding more, so I do occasionally dress up in character. Got Belle, Cinderella, and Princess Peach so far... wanting to add Ariel to my list. Long term goal, would love to dress up like Scarlett O'Hara!

Sometimes. But the best I ever saw was a girl GG that dressed as Marvin Martian. Ray gun and all she looked pretty good.

You're a dresser after my own heart, CH.

It is no longer enuff for me to simply present as a female. I want to present as a costumed female!:D

Chanel,
Those are terrific costumes, you look really great in them.
I would love to do a fantasy-game type cosplay, but not quite got the courage for that yet! Maybe one day....

Although I know it is very popular, I have only dressed as various costumes for Halloween.

I've dressed up as Princess Peach many times. Didn't even realize that I was a crossdresser, I just liked dressing up as her and pretending to be a princess. But she is responsible for getting me into crossdressing.

No, never have done it. I've never been into costumes even on halloween. I did go to one party dressed as a bride. I've fashioned outfits after girls and women that I like how they looked, but didn't try to look like them.

I dress up in female character outfits at Halloween so that nobody will suspect that I'm a crossdresser. I have been challenged however that I am too realistic for shaving my body and pay attention to details like nails, jewellery, etc. My favorite outfits are french maid, Scully from x_files and airline stewardess!
