Getting some Jamie time

My wife asked if I would like some Jamie time tomorrow as she was thinking about taking our son out to a friend's house. I can really use it as this month at work is over the top stress for me (my boss is on vacation for two and a half weeks leaving me answering to the CFO). I am planning a nice day, getting a mani/pedi and then coming home to get done up and relax.

And then my son will be gone for a week starting next Sunday. So I am going to ask tomorrow if I can come in for a polish change and get some color. I have asked my wife that we figure out some place fun that we can go out and have a girl's outing but we will see that gets tough logistically.

Dressing always relieves stress, I think it is because we relax so much and enjoy it. I hope you and your wife can work it out that y'all can have a nice outing.

Jamie time was good yesterday, except my eye makeup was tragic ::pout:: I am going to miss my son a lot next week but am excited for Jamie time every night.
In hearing how tragic my eye makeup was, she thinks I should practice every night this week to be ready for next week. So we've discussed Sunday and after I go in for a polish change to get some color, it looks like I will head over to Sephora and have a makeover. From there a trip to Ikea and lunch.

I'm happy for you hun! Glad you had fun! Practice makes perfect! I would love to get good at eye makeup, I can't seem to bring my sunken eyes out very well no matter how many makeup videos I watch! Good luck and hope you enjoy Jamie time! 😘
