Glad you are getting to at least under dress, but sorry to hear you can't fully dress! Hope that it will pass-soon! Hugs Lana Mae

It is very stressful not being able to be myself and work toward my goals, but caring for my folks is more important no matter how stressed get.

I understand about taking care of eldery or sick parents ( I took care of my father for a time when he was sick and an elderly aunt for several years until she passed. Take some advice from someone who has been in your shoes, no matter how you choose to do it, you must make time for yourself, I'm not saying dress ( I know that is going to be difficult if at all possible given the circumstances) but do something to keep from losing yourself, one of my hobbies is working on classic cars but I never really had the time or money to do any major rebuilds due to what was going on, but I bought a rusted old car and parked it in my fathers garage and when I would get him settled for the night I would go out and tinker with it for a little bit (it could be 10 minutes a night or sometimes a couple hours) but it gave me time to decompress from dealing with his issues, work issues etc.... basically it was how I kept my sanity in an insane situation.

-giggles- Yes, shooting things and randomly blowing things up is a wonderful stress reliever, isn't it?

Jessikah, You are a noble soul! I had to move 200o miles in 2010, and had to help my elderly very difficult dad, who wanted daughters and no sons, for six years. I always wonder what he would have thought, if i had dressed up as Alice, and came out to him. I don't think it would have been a nice experience, so i never outed myself to any family. one day at a time. Feel free to vent on here anytime or PM me. Caregivers need care, too. Be good to yourself in guy mode, too!

As long as my parents are alive, even one time dressing up would het me very upset, so for now I keep it all packed up.

Thats why I attend a function at Knob Creek Ky twice a year. All my stress slips away there.
