No.
Why would you think it would?

Not in any respect at all.

when I got mine done it was considered a double surgery so they put me under for it. I had a cyst on one of the tubes that they had to cut out. afterwards, you will be sore so no tight undies for little which. The nut sling was weird to.

Nope, and there is no reason why it would.

Also don't worry about it affecting your sex drive or performance. Sperm is the only thing produced in the testes, that sperm accounts for <%2 of the volume of your ejaculation, the bulk of the semen comes from your prostate. I never noticed any difference in volume or appearance of my ejaculate after I had mine.

Wow, that sounds rough jhasmine, mine was done outpatient at the doctors office. Just 20mg of Valium and a local, but I did have to ice the boys for a couple days and they were tender for several days afterwards

Hi Danielle,

No affect whatsoever. Simple outpatient surgery for me.

I had mine done 22 years ago, outpatient and like Roberta, just ice and Tylenol / naproxen for a few days. Never took the narcotic they prescribed. About the only difference to CDing is that now, many years later, the testes slide more easily up and inside for tucking.

Your hormone levels do not change, the only thing that does change is that you will only shoot blanks. It is a short out patient surgery, and you may have some discomfort for a day or two.

Danielle. I understand you worrying about it possibly interfering with Cross dressing. I had to get prostate surgery a number of years ago. I explained to the urologist that I am a cross dresser and I didn't want him to do anything that would cure/stop my Cross dressing. He smirked with a little chuckle and reassured me that I would still have the urge to cross dress. When I woke after surgery he told me that the urge might be stronger. I didn't see how that was possible, I said cool.
One thing was effected. As always since I was 6 years old the urge is not only strong, it is who I am. What did change was more due to all of the meds I had to take for heart,BP, stomach. I got gynecomastia in the form of D cup breasts. Oh my what a bonus.

Well yes it did. When I got mine done I had to shave (down there) and I liked it. So I have been smooth ever since.

Unlike many of the others. Huge decrease in volume and does make ej more difficult. Maybe they did it wrong.

In my case, something didnt go quite as planned and I had quite a lot of discomfort for a couple of months. Not unmanagable, but much worse than what I expected.
However, I was unable to tuck for almost two years after the surgery! Before that, and again after those two years, tucking was an important part of my "change" into girl mode and it was easy and pain free for me. During those couple of years, it was really painful if not impossible.

Well it's 36 years since I had mine done, and there has been no change to my cding as a result. For me it was the best £45 that I ever spent, yes in those days it wasn't available on our NHS, and was easier than a trip to the dentists.

Danielle Just make sure you are shooting blanks as a friend/ coworker found out the hard way yes he was still hot Surprise kid found out he had a third nut

oh one other thing Don't do any hiking or heavy lifting after. if you want to hear about the story I will tell you

Danielle_cder

How do you check if you are shooting blanks?

Oh, you're familiar with the technique, Danielle. Your urologist will provide you with a cup and you do the rest.

Ordinarily, this test won't be conducted for several weeks, because things need to heal and a few hardy individuals might have made it to the other side of the incision beforehand.

Plus you need to "clean out the pipes" so remember the first few loads can still contain live rounds!

Mine - left and right local anesthetic,
3 mm cut to each side - pipe work cut, sealed and folded over and stitched.
25 minutes latter back to work - felt like I had just stopped for a coffee break.
Much better than visiting a dentist.

CD and sex carried on just as it had before.

No, but it hurt like hell. No after effects since - 20 years on - but you should be aware that some people have had ongoing pain from the op.

I had mine done many years ago. A Saturday morning out patients clinic. Four of us in screened cubicles side by side. The consultant visited us all in turn to prep us, by the time he'd done the last one, the first was ready to be operated on. I reckon he did all 4 in less than half an hour and then went off to spend the rest of the day on the golf course.

Yep you're a little sore for a day or two but once that passes it's back to business as usual. The worst thing is having shaved, it of course grows back and that can itch a tad. Can feel a little like you've a hedgehog in your underpants.

I find it interesting how many of us have had a vasectomy.

I am willing to bet the number for men in the CD/T spectrum is higher than average, because we actually care more about women than the average man.

After seeing what my wife went through for years with the various birth control pills and shots like never ending periods and spotting, one day I literally apologized to her for not doing it sooner. But she agreed that we were both not ready for a permanent solution at the time.

Quite frankly her periods have never really returned to "normal" even after over a decade of being off all forms of birth control.

because we actually care more about women than the average man..

One of the main reasons I had mine done was so my wife could stop taking the pill.

I am more nervous and frightened by the thought of a vasectomy than when I had open heart surgery, lol...

I had one 35 years ago, for my first wife. I wasn't CDing then. I never noticed any ill effects. They have you bring in sample to make sure your shooting blanks. The report said "No sperm seen" , like an unsuccessful whale watching expedition. I'm taking a generic Flowmax now to help with frequent urination, one of the side effects of that is sometimes you don't shoot anything but still get the sensation that you did.

Calling BS on this, unless there is some reason a 2 day old infant, whose testes haven't descended yet, required that they be rendered infertile for life

H-m-m-m... personally, I took it that the poster confused vasectomy and circumcision

Jodie_Lynn
08-28-2017, 09:51 PM
That was actually what I thought might have happened. I'd just like the poster to clarify her statement. :)

As to the topic: My vasectomy was an in out office procedure, the pain didn't last more than a day or three. However, for quite a while, every time I stepped off a curb, I felt a jolt in the boys. Not especially painful, but a definite reminder. Then that too eventually faded away.

So it's done... it has been a week still feel some pain not a lot but notice it a bit. How long did you give it until you could tuck?

Just yesterday I was at a Urologist consult - probably getting it done next month. The doctor was quite old and had an air of having seen everything already. I should have asked him this question to see if he really has seen everything ...

Theres no need to worry at all, mine was done at a day surgery, took maybe a 1/2 hour in total and was told to wear close fitting underwear for a couple of days. Result? no after pain/soreness.
So worry not at all.

I had one years ago, but did not dress then. But, I taught a SCUBA in water class that night with no ill effects. It certanily will have no effect upon your CD adventures
