Stilletos...

While at a GG friend's house toay, I heard it on the radio news that a race somewhere took place with thousands of women and one man, yes man, wearing stilletos, running in a cobbled street.

It said the man wore padded clothes in case he fall over.

My friend laughed and said she'd love to see me try and walk in her heels.

I ran in the first Great Manchester Run in 2003 (10k), and there was one man who completed the full distance in full drag, purple wig and stilettos. His make-up was pretty runny by the time he finished, but he'd also collected half a bucketful of coins on the way round and carried all that weight to the finish. I wonder how sore his feet were!
