Hey Girls!!

I just gave myself the whole make-up treatment this evening for the first time. NO, not a professional make-over, but did my own face for the first time. I liked what I saw, but not confident enough to post pictures yet. Also concealer does not quite do the job of dremablend I guess.

What I really wanted to say is a big thank you to all of you wonderful people out there, CD's and GG's, whose many posts, thoughts, sharing and warmth got me this far. Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!! biiiiiig hug!!!!

Maybe next time I will venture as far as posting pictures???

Love,
Sonia

Research and practice will definitely lead to improvements! Also, even if you never share them, keeping a pic or two of your efforts can be helpful down the road in figuring out what's working and what's not for you (as long as you're not worried about being busted by having your pics discovered!). I see you're in the Beauty club, lots of good stuff archived there.

I'm a rank amateur at this myself but I do note improvement over time, and to me, it's one of the most fun parts of crossdressing, when I have the time.

Makeup is how it started for me.

Frankly, I cannot imagine CDing without Makeup. I feel like I am still a guy, no matter how I am dressed---until I put on my female face to the world --with makeup.

Bree also started with make-up...and went from there. I think it's hard to do one without the other. I just dont feel pretty dressed up without make-up, and feel funny with good make-up and my pj's or sweats just hanging around the house.

Bree has gotten ALOT better about makeup, and colors and applications, in the last few months.. not to mention the nails - she puts mine to shame sometimes...:o

Just a GG opinion here...

feminine when wearing makeup. Even when just dressing somewhat casual like at home with hip hugger jeans and heels and a nice blouse I like to at least put on some lipstick or a little eyeshadow. :cheeky: And a wig of course.:D

Congrads on starting with the war paint.:) Here's an idea to try. If you got a digital camera, take a picture and wait til the next day to check it out. If it looks female the next day, then your doing good. I've been playing with makeup for a couple of years, and now the wife says she doesn't reconize the girl in the picture. And she knew it was me. Remember an artist, and makeup is an art, needs much practice.
So keep at it. Even if you're good from the start, you will get better. Good luck....BJ

Thanks for all the kind words and encouragement. Hopefully I'll get better. Julie and Billijo, your advice is taken and pictures are being taken on a phone camera to be stored as a point of reference.

Hugs,
Sonia

Could hold out no more!!!!!

Just changed my avatar pic to the result of the make-up session. I hope this does not backfire and land me in trouble. I guess its just one's need to preen and pose??

Please give me comments girls, critical, rude, offensive, whatever they be. Would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks and love,
Sonia
