Coming out!

Something that is never easy! I myself have only done it a handful of times.
Most were awkward and painful. Still recovering years later from on imparticular.
Does this get any better or easier. I feel in this one horse town no one would understand and most likely get belittled for. Why we should be ostrasized for how we feel or what we are doesn't seem right.
Some of you have had positive responses for coming out. Does it make easier the next time.

The more you do it the easer it is. If you don't do it for a while it seams like you are just starting over again

It's hard for non CD's to deal with us. I think we ought to "own" that, I mean, come to terms with it. I accept that an important part of who I am is very hard for most other people to accept. I want to show who I am, and do, to a limited extent. And when I do, I encounter acceptance from some, disapproval from others. Expecting, hoping for, or advocating that others change their views on crossdressing would not be a very good plan, IMHO.
