As usual went to church today. After I got home I eventually changed into something more comfortable and took off my makeup. I then decided I needed to do a grocery run and gas up the car.
I didn't realize I never took off my nail polish (a green tinted pearlescent ) or my necklace. Long story short not a problem in the supermarket or at the gas station where I had to go to the counter to get my rewards card scanned. Oh well

Its no big deal I wear it all the time even in guy mode.
Very rarely will anyone comment and its always a good comment.

You are not alone, I went for a early morning drive yesterday and when I got home and unlocking my front door I looked down and forgot to remove my necklace. After all I'm getting older, maybe eventually we can use our senile as an excuse that we got dressed as a women and don't know why.

I've been to many places with painted nails and rarely has anyone ever said a word. I work not with but near the public, I do have to interact with customers on occasion. No one has ever said a word about (Black Nails) which I like a lot, I've gone to work with colored nails a few times and that does tend to turn a few more heads but really no one cares. They really don't! There is always that one guy who is really insecure and may have a smart ass comments but what you have to ask yourself is, do you really care what he thinks? Think about it.

I've been out many times with painted nails and no one really seems to notice. The few that have commented were females and the remarks were compliments.

I have to insert this funny story here. Several years ago, we getting ready to start a big meeting. The President of the company was nearly eighty, and not known for being up-to-date. As we were getting the video feeds up, he looked down at one of the junior Vice Presidents hands, and said, are you wearing nail polish? The VP said, yes because he’s a metrosexual. Just as the video went live, the President said, what the **** is a metrosexual? It was heard globally.
At that time, I honestly didn’t know either. I knew this VP wasn’t LGBT because his prowess with the fairer sex was somewhat legendary. Now don’t get me wrong the then President of the company (since passed away) was not a homophobe. He had a daughter in a same sex marriage and always talked about how proud he was of her bravery, all the time.
When this happened, under my suit, I was wearing pantyhose and a camisole.

The one time I wore nail polish, I tried to take it off as best as I could. But, my date commented on my reddish fingernails that nite!
If u don't mind being outed? Wear painted nails. Most people won't notice. But, some will!:heehee:
