Recently my wife and I went through a home downsizing and I lost all my storage space for my personal girl items. Consequently I have buying tons of new clothing instead of wotking with what I have soooo....
I am converting my basement and office into my personal girl space what do you all think so far. New brighter paint adding some storage. Carpet is next

Looking good so far, dear. Just make sure you have lots of closet space for the clothes, lots of drawers for the lingerie, and maybe pull-out storage under the bed for all the shoes!

Now go to the hardware store, buy some threaded pipes and fittings and bases, screw them into the underside of the floor joists, and voila! You now have hanging space running the full length of the basement.
On second thought, don't do that. If you have anywhere near as many clothes as a lot of the girls here do, you'll pull down the ceiling and wind up with a seriously sunken living room.

LOL fortunately/unfortunately however you spin it, my ceiling is sheetrocked. I had been using boxes I have upgraded to a wardrobe.
