My spouse is supportive and encourages me to dress, and doesn’t like it when I hold off. I still keep the occurances of the activity minimal, which I think is best for everyone.
Anyway, she loves to read. She mostly reads romance stuff and they aren’t G rated books ;-)
Anyway, I know there’s a lot of crap out there and I don’t want her to be turned off by any of the far out stuff, but was wondering if there were books about relationships that included the crossdressing element that we’re still tastefully done (if that’s possible).
I’m not talking about any of the non-fiction (husband wears my clothes, etc), rather...”girl meets boy, and discovers a fun secret” or “girl meets boy and helps him have some fun or discover some fun together, etc”
Does such stuff exist? Any recommendations? Kindle books, etc?
Thx!

For an entertaining mystery try Fletch and the Widow Bradley by Gregory McDonald. Two movies staring Chevy Chase were made based on the Fletch character, a bit of a quirky, wise guy who is an investigative reporter. The plot of the Widow Bradley deals with one of the characters who transitions. McDonald must have known someone who transitioned or talked to a lot of people. His understanding of the feelings, frustrations, and drive are spot on and well written. He also expresses well how children are affected and how they cope. And of course Fletch gets into some funny situations.

I recently read a kindle book called, "The Reluctant Sister" and while I had a lot of issues with it I read it pretty fast so I must have liked it. She did an entire series and this is the third book, which for some reason I bought out of order. It's just total goofball fantasy, unbelievable but enjoyable, and short. I've read a few more fetishy kindle books in the past and I think they are all about the same. The writing is far from inspiring but they tell a good story and I'm sure you could find one exactly like what want.
My first taste of this kind of fiction was several years ago while searching for cycling books on my kindle I found a series about a English teen who is an inspiring bike racer and keeps accidently getting into situations where he "has" to cross-dress. At the time I was still very self denying about my interest in TG issues and my own secrets. I was really pissed that this "fetish" book had somehow got placed in with legit books. Still I couldn't stop thinking about it, the seed was planted, so I started searching and found many of the early series books posted on https://bigclosetr.us/topshelf/ free to read. Once I started reading them I was hooked. The books had zero sexual content and were not fetish like I thought, but combined two of my favorite activities.
I would check out topshelf or kindle, I'm sure you'll find something for you and your spouse.

There's an overwhelming amount of TG fiction out there. The Sandy Thomas Publications are probably the best known but go to Amazon and type TG stories or to Google and type TG fiction and I came up with pages of resources. Also check out the Library on Sister House https://www.sisterhouse.net/library/

I really enjoyed The Danish Girl by David Ebershoff (the book, not the movie) and In One Person by John Irvine.

Just for kicks I did a search of Fictionmania for stories with a G rating. There are over 10,000 of them. Lots and lots of chaff among the wheat.
