I also posted this on Reddit but figured I would post here too since I've been lurking for a while.

Went out for the first time ever Saturday night with my girlfriend! We went to a local gay club that was throwing a Halloween party. I'm straight but it was the perfect environment as everyone was super accepting and I honestly blended right in.

If anyone is trying to build up courage I recommend taking this approach. There were so many other guys out in drag it was crazy and it really helped me relax. I was extremely nervous at first but as the night went on I was having a blast.

The last pic was at the club but before it got really busy. After an hour or so it was packed.

Thanks for posting, Chloe. There r so many here that post of going out alone to very vanilla venues. Which can lead to embarrassing and dramatic situations.:doh:

However, I've found bars/clubs and all gay friendly ones, to be very accepting of T's and even Sherry! A great way for closet T's to get out safely, make some friends, and have some fun!:hugs:

Wow thanks for all the compliments! I really wish I tried going out earlier in life (32 now) because it's so much fun! This club has occasional drag nights throughout the year so we may go to a few of those, which will be interesting on a day other than Halloween.

Yea. You definitely have that going for you, now! You pull it off well. :) I, on the other hand, am so freakishly tall that I will never pass as a girl.

That being said, I love my height and wouldn't give it up for anything. But, a part of me will always wonder what it would be like to "be a woman for a day" :)
