This will tie together I promise.
I basically grew up in one house since I was like 6, before that there were two others. So a pretty normal childhood. From 17 when I joined the service, only one tour, peace time. I have moved a lot. I've been thinking about people I have met. I tend to make friends easly. This is before any social media, when you wanted two talk to someone it was face to face. I think this is how I've gone from not knowing anything about this life to living as a transgender person in what I think is a very short time. Now with all the communication you can stay in touch so much easier with your friends. I have lost touch with so many through the years. Most of my friends, I have only known a short time. This is my home town where I grew up. There is a saying here, they say everyone that grows up here comes back sometime. I have deep roots here. I recently reconnected with a very old friend from my childhood. My best friends sister. As theirs was like a second family, I see her like a sister. Her brother and my friend past away years ago. So it's this direct contact I have had my whole life. I like meeting and talking to people. I have been trying to put my finger on why this all has been so easy for me. There have been things here and there , that's life. But all and all its been pretty easy to go from just a guy, to living as a transgender person. This best describes me now as I'm a work in progress. This has been made easier with help from my friends.
