Is there a Glossary of terms somewhere? I keep coming accross terms that I dont understand, like Non Binary? LGBTQ, Whats the Q stand for? Some I can figure out but others like those 2 I cant get. There are a few others but those are the two on the top of my head right now, and have been for a while.

Thanks all.

LGBTIQA+ where I live. Q=Queer, A=Asexual & += Stacy or Others not mentioned.

I will let someone else or google as Jenna mentioned describe Non Binary! Not my field!

Unfortunately, not everybody uses those terms in the same context so they are pretty much useless.

BTW: "Q" stands for "queer" which is no longer politically correct and considered an insult if used to describe or address someone. It's kind of queer (it can still be used in this context) that it would be included in "LGBTQ".

For this site, these definitions are offered in the Introduction forum: https://www.crossdressers.com/forums/showthread.php?162497-Some-Common-Trans-Related-Definitions-and-Abbreviations

For the Transsexual forum on this site, these definitions are offered:https://www.crossdressers.com/forums/showthread.php?233034-TS-Forum-definitions

Beyond that, there are glossaries provided by GLAAD and Human Rights Campaign, there are often good articles provided on Wiki.

The "alphabet salad" that appears after LGBT can have many meanings depending on context (A=asexual or allies; Q= queer or questioning; etc.)
