Another night out....

R and I went to a transgender holiday party this evening, about an hour from home with pit stops...We had a lovely time and met some truly awesome people. One wonderful lady completed her transition at age seventy five. She seemed to take a shine to me, and we talked for a long time. She asked how many times I had been in public, and was amazed that this was my third trip out. Everywhere else we went...not a second glance except a couple interested looks from some nearsighted guys.

I think as you go on...confidence builds until.you can tackle it ok.

I agree with your comment about building confidence. I am working on that myself. Congratulations on getting out and having a great evening. You are an inspiration for some of us.
