I went out & about dressed today for the first time other than Halloween. After clearing snow this morning I dressed in a pair of women’s Harley jeans, a casual top wig & 3 inch heals. Since I had no makeup first stop was Ulta, after a lesson and purchasing too much makeup I was off again. Next stop was to gas up the car, then on to the bank. Nobody gave me a second look anywhere I went.
After this experience there in no way I will not be dressed tomorrow when I go in for my wig appointment!

Awesome!!! I was in MSP last month, and had several outings. Seems like the people of MSP are really accepting - take advantage and have a great time. 💋💋💋

It is super easy to go out dressed as long as you blend. I frequently wear women's jeans and tops (even with a bra) and have never been questioned. Then again, why would I? I don't care what they are wearing and hope the feeling is mutual.

Once you get that wig you won't want to revert back to your old self.

Go for it and have a good time. :-)

This is definitely a genie out of the bottle. Pics in new wig to follow perhaps?

So, Lynda...
First of all, good for you! You have made the leap and found that it wasn't so far after all. If you don't mind, thoughm I'm curious about the process leading up to the decision to go. What drove the desire? What made you finally decide to go?

I’ve had the desire for a long time, but not really the opportunity. I recently retired and my SO is still working so now I have the opportunity.
