Now that you've been able to read my story from the DC Trans Ladies Soiree

https://www.crossdressers.com/forums/showthread.php?254649-At-the-DC-Trans-Ladies-Soiree

I have another one to tell you, but you'll just have to trust me on this because I have no witnesses except (GG) Gabriella.

When I got to the soiree, I went into the ladies room to touch up my makeup. I was at the mirror when a GG (who later told me her name was Gabriella) came up behind me and told me how beautiful I was. We talked for a couple of minutes, and then her two daughters, say 4 and 6 came out of the stalls.

This is where I thought I would really be in trouble as a man in the ladies room, fully dressed en femme, with two little girls and their mom. But, was I ever surprised!

Gabriella used this interaction as a "teaching moment" for her two girls. She explained to her daughters that people could be different, but we were all people and should be respected. The youngest girl still looked confused, so with her mother's permission I kneeled down to her level and had a little (G rated) teaching moment about why I dressed. It was a speech that I had been practicing for some time now, just in case. I asked her if she ever dressed up in a costume, like a princess or Wonder Woman ... or maybe Superman. Just like she could dress in a costume, I could dress in girl's clothes.

BTW, Gabrielle insisted that I take her phone number!!! I think she might want to "set me up" with her cousin who is gay. If I talk to her, I'll have to disabuse her of that notion, LOL, because I'm only attracted to women.

Ok, I'll say it:
Maybe you and she could go shopping? Or have a nice girls lunch?

Who knows?? :)

Gabrielle might have had the wrong info also about CDs as not all are gay, but she sounds like she’d be fun to go out with for lunch or dinner.

another great teaching moment steffi....i dont know if you remember one of the lunchen speakers topic was "preconcieved perspetives" at the keystone conference, gabrielle assuming you were gay is one of the things i got from her speech, we are all quilty of it.... a great topic but she was rather boring in her presentation.

hope you get a call and get to teach her again....
