last opportunity for the year

Tonight was likely my last chance to dress for the year. I wore a new sweater dress that I bought (in drab) from Penney's today over the usual complement of undies. I also wore one of my shorter wigs with very little makeup. Looking out my kitchen window into the dark resulted in a perfect softened reflection where I thought I looked as good as I ever have even with full makeup. Just a quiet peaceful moment. Always nice to have.
