Had a Doctor appointment today. He knows I'm transgender. So I go wearing my white lace panties a white bralette a blue boat neck long sleeve tee. Black slacks and a light blue shirt. Needed to get a flu shot so the nurse had me take off my shirt and tee for a shot in the arm. So there I am just in my bralette. Got my shot and then she give a gown to put for my exam and left the room. Heard her tell someone that had on a cute bra.

Doctor comes in and talk about if I had gone to see the referral he sent me to about my being transgender. I said no that they were to far away from where I live that I need to find someone closer to me. We talk about meds and surgery. We both think surgery is not a option because of my age (70) but maybe meds but he doesn't handle that for transgender.

All in all it was a good exam. I just need to find some one near me for the meds treatment.

Sounds like you have a caring internal medicine doc. You are fortunate. Good luck with you specialist search.

I mostly underdress. When I have doctors appointments I always wear my silky panties. Doctors have seen a lot. If any of them can't tolerate me fine, I'll take my money elsewhere. So far no problems. If I have a bra on I tell them before hand so that there is no surprises.

I'm impressed with your confidence and pleased with the response you get from your doctor. I'm not out in the world much, so my docs don't really need to know for now. Maybe later, definitely if I change or add medications. They will need to have that on file.

I wear a bra full time, but not usually to the doctor's. I made an exception about two months ago to an appointment with a new urologist, not expecting to have to undress from the waist up. To my surprise, and without any warning, he slid his stethoscope under the front of my shirt and ran right into my bra! Very matter of factly, he asked, "What garment is this?" I said I have large breasts and often wear a bra. He said no more about it, or at subsequent visits. So I no longer worry about being "discovered."

I recently had to change family doctors, due to a retirement. For my first appointment with the new doctor, I wore a knee length polka dot skirt, a plain Jane top with cardigan and my black suede wedges. I have not told him I am transgender or anything else, and when he saw me, he made no mention of my clothing choices. In subsequent visits, I have been in yoga pants with those same wedges once, and another time I was in completely male mode. It was "Not a big deal", just the way it should be.
