hello all,
it is winter in the UK. The weather has been grey all week; I have not seen any sunshine. It has been a grim week at work.
so today, I got up early and went shopping, under-dressed and smelling of girly perfume, leaving my wife in bed. I bought myself some panties and bras and fishnets and make-up that I don't really need. And it felt good, Back at home, as soon as it got dark and we had drawn the curtains I dressed up and cooked us a meal. And it felt good.
It seems to work. Whenever I feel down and there seems to be no escaping it, I start to do some more extreme things and take risks. I under-dress more; cross-dress more; risk being seen shopping for women's clothing. I have also noticed that eat more spicy foods and drink a bit more alcohol. I don't know why. Perhaps someone could explain it?

Pink fog induced retail therapy. A dangerous combination indeed.

If SAD were the reason there'd be a lot more crossdressers in Seattle and Portland. I prefer the pink fog induced retail therapy syndrome, a.k.a. PFIRT.:battingeyelashes:

I know what you mean. The winter makes you miserable so getting out and doing something you enjoy lifts your mood more than it would in the summer when your background state of wellbeing was already elevated. The bottom line is you enjoy crossdressing but any other thing you enjoy may have the same elevated affect on your mood when you are starting from a winter induced low point.
