I know, I know, the title I used just to catch your attention to this thread and make a comment.
Doesn't this song look like he's taking about this person that we crossdressers "got under the skin?"
Any other songs that look like written with that feeling?

I got you under my skin

I've got you under my skin

I've got you deep in the heart of me

So deep in my heart, that you're really a part of me

I've got you under my skin

I've tried so not to give in

I've said to myself this affair never gonna swing so well

So why should I try to resist,
when baby will I know damn well

That I've got you under my skin

I'd sacrifice anything come what might

For the sake of having you near

In spite of a warning voice that comes in the night

And repeats, repeats in my ear

Don't you know little fool, you'll never win

Why not use your mentality, come on step up to reality

But each time I do, just the thought of you

Makes me stop before I begin

'Cause I've got you under my skin

If you really want to stretch, you could make virtually any love song about crossdressing.

I've always thought that Lou Reed's "All Tomorrow's Parties" was about CDing. I don't think it's much of a stretch considering it's Lou Reed.

All Tomorrow's Parties

And what costume shall the poor girl wear
To all tomorrow's parties
A hand-me-down dress from who knows where
To all tomorrow's parties
And where will she go, and what shall she do
When midnight comes around
She'll turn once more to Sunday's clown and cry behind the door

And what costume shall the poor girl wear
To all tomorrow's parties
Why silks and linens of yesterday's gowns
To all tomorrow's parties
And what will she do with Thursday's rags
When Monday comes around
She'll turn once more to Sunday's clown and cry behind the door

And what costume shall the poor girl wear
To all tomorrow's parties
For Thursday's child is Sunday's clown
For whom none will go mourning

A blackened shroud
A hand-me-down gown
Of rags and silks, a costume
Fit for one who sits and cries
For all tomorrow's parties

Sure Vanessa, let’s stick with Sinatra and say I Get a Kick Out of You.

Being a "petrol head" I can pretty much apply that first song to my T67m, so no as much as its fun to ponder I don't think that Mr Sinatra was a CD

Of course he wasn't! I'm listening now his songs and he's I will the kind of guys I'd love to have sex with. Jjijjiji
Remember the beginning of my post, it was just a catch to call ladies attention to this idea about crossdressers songs....

Frank Sinatra was very interested in staring in - Some like it hot . Tony Curtis and jack Lemon beat him out

Frank sang, "I did it my way". Then who knows, would any self respecting wise guy be caught in a dress? lol

I always admired Albert Einstein, and I think he was probably a crossdresser too. At least he admitted this in reference to his shoes. https://qph.ec.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-8b18d0da3d64b9dd02bc5504a910d099-c

Sometimes I'm a little off track and pictures are more understandable than words to me! If I'm way off track again, just nudge me!
Is this what the subject was!

This is a funny thread! So many here think every guy would wear woman's things if he had a chance and wasn't afraid of getting caught.

But, I was a vanilla guy with zero gender issues for 50 years. And, the truth is it simply never occurs to vanilla males to try on women's things! It certainly didn't to me and I had countless opportunities.:heehee:

When I was seventeen it was a very good year, It was a very good year for small town gurls and soft summer nights, We'd hide from the lights on the village green

Lola The Kinks

I met her in a club down in North Soho
Where you drink champagne and it tastes just like cherry cola
See-O-L-A cola.
She walked up to me and she asked me to dance.
I asked her name and in a dark brown voice she said, "Lola"
L-O-L-A Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Well, I'm not the world's most physical guy,
But when she squeezed me tight she nearly broke my spine
Oh my Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Well, I'm not dumb but I can't understand
Why she walk like a woman and talk like a man
Oh my Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Well, we drank champagne and danced all night,
Under electric candlelight,
She picked me up and sat me on her knee,
And said, "Little boy won't you come home with me?"
Well, I'm not the world's most passionate guy,
But when I looked in her eyes,
Well I almost fell for my Lola,
Lo lo lo lo Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Lola lo lo lo lo Lola lo lo lo lo Lola
I pushed her away. I walked to the door.
I fell to the floor. I got down on my knees.
I looked at her, and she at me.
Well that's the way that I want it to stay.
And I always want it to be that way for my Lola.
Lo lo lo lo Lola.
Girls will be boys, and boys will be girls.
It's a mixed up, muddled up, shook up world,
Except for Lola. Lo lo lo lo Lola.
Well I left home just a week before,
And I've never ever kissed a woman before,
But Lola smiled and took me by the hand,
And said, "Little boy, gonna make you a man."
Well I'm not the world's most masculine man,
But I know what I am and I'm glad I'm a man,
And so is Lola.
Lo lo lo lo Lola. Lo lo lo lo Lola.
Lola lo lo lo lo Lola. Lola lo lo lo lo Lola

Well, there are those who maintain that one of Sinatra's bigger hits - "Strangers in the Night" - is all about a clandestine homosexual encounter depending on how one interprets some of the more ambiguous lyrics contained in it...

I can't remember which old time philosopher said: "to do is to be." Another said: "to be is to do." But I do know who voiced: "do be do be do." With due apologies.

We used to refer to that tune as Stranglers in the night.

WOW!! Surprising and exciting. That swirling, diaphanous pink skirt is gorgeous. Normally I wouldn't be able to write in this gushy manner, but this forum releases something warm and fuzzy inside - is it just the dopamine/serotonin or . . .

Ineke, Gillian, Jamie and Leslie I don't want to apologize for Sinatra but he wasn't a song writer, composer or arranger, just a singer, a great singer with and extremely unique voice that I sing if my panties tremble when I listen hin, his days women did too, lol.
Anyway as I said he didn't write a lyric. The story of "I did my way" is that Sinatra has in those days to "the kid" Paul Anka to write a song for him because he was leaving the stages, so Anka wrote My way. It was such a success that Sinatra decide to keep singing so Anka has to write another song as an apology from Sinatra to keep singing after said to everybody he was leaving so Anka writes "let me try again".
Regarding "strangers in the night" the song says that from that moment and forever they keep together, nobody knew that Frank had a secret male lover and to finish I got the title just a hook to catch your ladies attention just for that song, I got you under my skin" that I feel is talking about my "secret" other me, Vanessa, and may be you gals can have other songs that express the he same feeling...
The video from YouTube that Stacey post is a good example of a crossdresser song...
