As the weeks tick down I knew it had to happen all my clothes, shoes undies and the rest had to be boxed up, no not a purge but in readiness for my my house move, with great reluctance I sealed the boxes up and said goodbye to dressing for the next few weeks . I didn't realise I had so much stuff until I tried to pick the box with just clothes in it, any way I heaved it into the garage with the box of shoes which nearly weighed as much and the final box of the rest .

The great thought is I went out on Friday night and really had a great time , it was my social group's 6th anniversary so I bopped most of the night away on the dance floor. Almost at the end of the meeting another group from the hotel gatecrashed our party so a large number of young couples joined us to dance and enjoy our company , it was lovely to see other people mingling with us and having fun. Some people really wanted to know more about us so we had some useful conversations mostly with the GGs in the group. One school teacher was very grateful for getting an insight as it's now part of school policy to accept TG children .

It's now mixed blessings I won't be able to dress for a month but when the boxes are reopened the contents will be hung in my own wardrobes , that's the exciting part , I can't wait !

In the past, I've gone a year without dressing. Now, I'm not sure I would survive a month. If it were me, I would have kept a few things within reach. Good luck!

Will temptation get the better of you and look for the holy grail.

It's in the garage somewhere.:-)

Your moving will keep you distracted and a month will go past in no time at all.

Also you know where everything is if you need it sooner :)

The time will fly by.

If it'd been me I'd have set aside a bag with a few casual items in it so the moment that front door shuts, ta dar, she appears!

This is better than you may think Teresa.
I recently packed all of my things into a spare room for only two weeks whilst I painted the wardrobe walls and ceilings. I then blissfully rehung my things in my own area of the house. It was better than Christmas as I bopped about the room whilst rehanging my clothes!

A month will be an even better high!

Teresa, I moved last fall and had my clothes in storage for a few weeks. I survived, so will you.

Teresa, that's certainly better than having all the clothes available and unlimited opportunity only to have the feelings and desires slip away.
I've had that happen too many times. You'll be fine.

Teresa,
I hope you kept a few items out so that you can at least wear some feminine underwear over the next few weeks.
So, this is it. The big move and change in your life style. I'm sure moving will come with its usual stresses but that will pass. Then you can spend a joyous day unpacking and arranging your clothes in your own wardrobes. Then think of the pleasure of opening those same wardrobes each day and choosing how you want to appear that day.
A new phase in your life is just about to open up and I wish you every pleasure and joy from it.

Teresa,
I'll be looking forward to your reports over the next month. I'm planning on moving in the near future and any insights I can gain from others who have gone through this ordeal will be an incredible benefit for me. I hope you manage to stay occupied or distracted enough that the time flies by for you.

To reply to all , I kept nothing back or so I thought then I realised I hadn't packed away my nighties ! Then my wife and I were sorting wardrobes out ready to dismantle them and she turned to me and said that pile is for you to pick over before I dispose of them , so now I have a little something to keep me going !

Sarah,
Yes I will keep posting to let you and others how it goes .

Carla,
Let's put it this way the pot is simmering , no chance of it going cold , reopening those boxes will soon have me back on the boil !!

I'm confused, Teresa. U mentioned u were out with your "social group" and later it sounded like there were trans in your group? But, u weren't dressed?

I find trans treat me differently if they r all dressed and I'm not. Even if they know me well!

Sherry,
Friday night I was fully dressed and it will be the last time before I move which hopefully will be before the end of February . Yes we are a mix of CDers, TGs and TSs. and now a F/M . We all get along fine , I've only met them all as Teresa so I can't say how different their attitude would be , saying that some permanently attend in drab and again there isn't a problem .
