It's been close to a year since I stopped dressing after my wife told me not to dress anymore!
Also my son moved home last year so there's never a safe time to dress.

Up until recently things have been fine but, in the last month the Pink Fog is increasing!

When I watch TV and see the beautiful dresses women are wearing it makes me crazy.
Dressing seems to be on my mind for at least half of my thoughts.

Do you find that Cross-Dressing takes up most of your time?

I will do some degree of dressing every few days in winter but in summer it could be several months

Lol...YEAH! Sure does! I just try to do more of the other things I also enjoy doing, as Jasmine. Like now. I'm wearing a neat little long sleeve dress, hair in pig tails, and I'm about to pour myself a margarita, and go play some classic games in my basement arcade for awhile. My wife is cool with it. I told her I was a crossdresser before we got married, because I know it can be a deal-breaker for many. She didn't care and married me anyways. It's just us around the house these days. Heck. If you live anywhere close to me, bring Judy-Something over with a purse full of quarters.......:)

Judy,

That must be very stressful for you. I have seen comments by therapists over the years saying that suppressing the urge to dress is unhealthy. I hope you can find a solution.

Honesty, honesty, honesty. I guess you and your wife have to confront this urge or it could drive a huge wedge in your relationship. When the son moves out it will only get worse. I have been there and done that with the avoiding and hiding. It is not healthy or fun at all. Good Luck.

Judy,
Dressing won't take most of my time because it will be full time soon !

It will be part of my life so I will have to find a balance , obviously I won't be spending hours prepping and gazing in the mirror , it will be integrated into my life without the restraints of DADT .

Cross-dressing does not "take up most of my time." Due to my wife's illnesses and her recovery she has not gone to work on a regular basis. I use to have the opportunity to be en femme up to five days a week for seven hours a day. Now it is sporadic. One day in January. Maybe three days in February based on her commitments. I am still buying feminine garments. Yesterday the letter carrier brought me a pair of vintage Vanity Fair panties. Another panty will be delivered tomorrow. I do spend some time each day on this site. It would be nice to be banging away on the keyboard wearing a dress and heels..fully en femme. I too always have women's clothing on the brain. My main attraction to "Wheel of Fortune" is watching Vanna White glide across the set turning those letters. Judy, I really feel for you because your wife constantly nags you about cross dressing. I don't think I could ever take constant harassment over anything. It reminds me of when I was a little kid and heard all the other little boys playing outside, and, being told I could not go out to play for no good reason.

Cross-dressing certainly doesn’t take up most of my, (I wish it did!), but it certainly in my mind a lot of the time and it can be a treat to see women on TV etc in fine clothes that I wish I could wear.

Since I retired, I do think of dressing more frequently, mostly because I have the time and opportunity to do so. My wife is also retired, but spends several days a week volunteering, which gives me ample time to dress. I also underdress most days, so yes, I am thinking about it a lot.

Actual dressing...ebb and flo. I’m fortunate to have a supportive wife, so no problem there. Mentally is another case. I think about female clothes a lot, both under and outer. I love going through catalogs. When I see something I like, I wonder how it’d look on me.

Judy, I can repeat every word you wrote with the exception that I think of it almost all the time, not half.
