I need some help with my wardrobe. I'll be going on a golf outing in Alabama with my male friends who don't know about Glenda. Plus going visiting my daughter on her farm in Tennessee. I can't dress on the golf outing I will be sharing a room. But on the way back to Tennessee I'll be by myself in my room. The problem I have is when I come back to Michigan I will be dressed as Glenda. The last time I did that I left TN. it was 55 degrees out by the time I got home it was 20. I was wearing a cotton skirt and matching top. When I stopped for gas it was windy and cold.

I have 2 outfits to take with me. 1 a brown sweater dress, black tights and brown boots. or 2 a black pencil skirt that just below the knees with and orange and pink long sleeve top that with black tights and black high heel boots. Plus I have a black rain jacket with a hood.

Need someone from around Alabama or Tennessee that know the weather there in March.

You may have to buy a good long coat and solve the problem if it turns cold put it on or warms up take it off. We always have one good cold spell in Texas and I bet they will also. Never know what to expect coming south.

Glenda,
March in middle TN has an average high of 60 and low about 35.
But I will say that this can vary dramatically between Memphis in the west on the Mississippi River and the mountains of Bristol in the east.

I'm not sure where in AL or TN you plan to be. Birmingham to Nashville is only about a 3 hour drive. Even the Gulf coast to Nashville is a 1 day drive.

The brown sweater dress should be good for your drive north.
Another option may be to pick up a new sweater. Shopping trip !

Have a great trip.

Hugs, Connie

You can go online and find the highs, lows, and average for your entire trip. Then the only problem is which one is it going to be. You can check just before you go for a 10 day forecast on Accuweather.

Thanks for the advice I think I'm going to pack 2 bags one for my golf cloths and one for my ladies things and makeup. That way I can have both outfits with me and see what the weather will be like when I leave to back home. I know I plan stopping for gas and something to eat. Maybe stop at the casino in Ohio. I'll have to remove everything before I get home is the only bad thing.
