View Full Version : Seen by a neighbor

A few days ago I went out mid day. It was the middle of the week, and I had some shopping to do.
I had a nice time, returned home, put away my new things, and sat down at my computer to check on my emails.
No sooner than I had logged in, a face book message popped in from a neighbor across the street.
She asked "Who did I just see driving your truck with the long hair?"
There isn't really any way to get out of that so I said, it was me you caught me.
She said she had to come home for lunch that day, and happened to be leaving just as I was puling in.
She asked me a few more questions, which I answered honestly.
I asked if she was still home, as I intended to invite her over to see me "up close". Unfortunately she was already back at work.
Now I'll be wondering if she has talked to the other neighbors. We will see what happens.

Good Luck. Is your wife okay with you going out (if married)?

It was bound to happen sooner or later! Hope it does not cause problems for you! Hugs Lana Mae

Well all I can say is if deep down you were ready to be outed that's one way to go about it. On the other hand you could confide in her and she might be a great source of advice and keep your secret between y'all.

Well as the old saying goes, you just have to own it

Stephanie, I'll be very curious to see how this all shakes out. You look pretty darn good to me, so I wonder if your neighbor will be stopping over soon. Yes, my wife would freak at this situation. One of her worse fears is that someone will realize she lives with a man in woman's clothing.
Keep us up to speed on the outcome please.

I can see the neighbour busting to get over to see you.
Part two of reality shortly. :-)

For that reason, minimizing the chances of being caught, I normally drive a long distance when I step out in public. I can still happen though.

If you are walking in and out of your house dressed as a woman or driving a recognizable vehicle while dressed as a woman, you will out yourself. It's not a matter of "if", it's a matter of "when".
It's a real PITA, but I underdress, walk to the vehicle and drive away and then finish dressing. I have two vehicles, both pretty generic.
I would love to be able to just walk out the door as Krisi, but I don't want to be known as the "tranny down the street" and my wife would be pretty disappointed in me if I did that.

StephNE,
Don't worry about it. Just remember that you have done nothing wrong or illegal. If she has a hard time with it that is her problem. You are just going about your business being a quiet and well behaved neighbor. She should be grateful to have you living across the street.

I must agree with, Krisi. U must not care if you're outed, Steph.
When I drive out in daylite, it's a simple matter to cover my dress with a jacket, makeup with shades and a cap, and then put on lipstick and wig in my car at my destination.:battingeyelashes:
But, if I was outed it could cause incredible chaos with my family!

I was out working in my yard and my neighbor saw me. He started to give me a hard time but his step in and talk to me and he went away. I used to go out and get my mail right from the mail lady. So everyone knew about me. But now I'm married and in a DADT relationship I don't go out. Plus most of the neighbors have moved and there are new ones that don't know Glenda.

My very first time going out, after I scrapped up all my courage, I walked smack dab into my next door neighbor, her husband, and their two kids as I stepped out of the apartment building.
That was 8 months ago and nothing has been said yet.
Altho the Landlord thinks there are 2 people living in my apartment for some reason.....
So good luck, the cat is now out of the bag. :)
