So out of character walking in Heels in mostly drab

Girls I did something kind of out of character. I was on my way home after working late and walked by this shoe store I thought was closed... But it was open!! So I went in and found the cutest red heels and I was daring enough to try them on in the store. They fit perfectly! So I had to have them!

But it does not stop there. After that experience I was like: I am in a safe part of town, no one knows me here... so I put on the heels and walked for a few blocks. I did already wear panty hose and had my toes painted where red anyway.

And I braved all the onlookers and it felt great!!

I hope I will not regret it tomorrow.

I too really enjoy wearing my girly Shoes with my drab when I am out and about. It is like my little wink to anyone paying attention. Plus I love hearing the click clack sound on hard surfaces and knowing thats ME!

I enjoy wearing heels in drab... And starting at 6'5" in just my pantyhose, they do get noticed. I mostly wear high heeled booties publicly. I have a pair of high heeled combat boots that look great with my kilt.

I might find a pair of shoes that I like but I then have to run home so as I can wear them appropriately.

Yea, I don't wear girlie shoes in male mode either. It's Krisi or Homer, never "Kromer".

I don't like the way I look in male mode. Never have. Dressing part way doesn't seem to help.

I actually did this last night. I didn't know when people would be getting back home and I wanted to practice with my first pair of heels I bought in the last week.

I sometimes wear heels when in drab and out of my home town, but I don't wear typical female shoes like pumps or sandals on that occasion, but black ankle boots with 3 inch fat heels and longer pants that cover most of the heel when I'm standing still.
If I would be out of the closet, I would probably wear stiletto heels even when in drab, because I love them so much.

Very cute heels, I can see why temptation took over. Sometimes, if I have pantyhose on, I will change my shoes in the car to a new pair of heels and drive home wearing them but it doesn't happen often. Like Krisi said, it's either one or the other but not both combined.
