Since retiring things have gotten very routine. Most weekdays it’s give my wife a ride to work back home by 6:30. Start coffe, shave, shower, dry off then it’s bra, panties and forms. Grab a cup of coffee and start my makeup, usually at least 2 cups of coffee to complete. Then do my hair and dress for the day usually ladies jeans and a nice top. Whatever work I need to do around the house is done by 10:00 what to do with the rest of my day? Even on Friday when I was my wigs, wash the short on first after getting excess water out I put it on and blow dry it wash the long wig and let it air dry.
Fortunately today I have to go grocery shopping, but a girl can only shop so much. It’s getting to the point many of the sales associates at the store in the area recognize me when I walk in.

Hello Lynn. I guess it’s called life. But seriously. I feel for you. I find myself in a very similar situation. I’m not retired but changed work locations. The new location has 1/4 the work force in it so it’s pretty sleepy. I find myself needing a new hobby to fill in some hours. I can only do so much at the gym and read so much before I get restless. Perhaps voulentering in your past profession is the the way to go. Or perhaps a part time job with just a couple of hours in it. This is a tough on and I wish you good luck in finding that activity.
Cheers

You are complaining about not having to work. Talk about first world problems. :p
Anyway how about volunteering to help young people who are going through the rough times you have gone through in your journey?

This is the beginning of my 10th year Lynn and I can honestly say that I still must write priority lists for my hobbies.
We're a very fortunate lot aren't we. You could start a little wig business for the Girls I guess, there isn't one around here.
And If your not busy in about 2hrs the surf is up, there's a 3metre swell at North beach!

I've been fully retired for ten years. My wife still works when she wants to work a day. She could retire, but, chooses to still engage with other adults other than her husband. So, I have a similar routine. I drive her to work and pick her up (non driver she is). She does not appreciate her husband wearing women's clothing, so it is DADT. Right now that's alright, since her schedule affords me seven hour of Stephanie time. Yes, my routine is similar to your routine. When I am en femme I find a lot to do around the home. I feel obligated to get the domestic chores finished; washing, ironing, vacuuming, bed linens, meal preparation, cooking, baking, tending the flowers in the spring and summer. I attend a support group of military vets once a week. I have hobbies.
If you're not doing anything because your drive to be en femme is controlling and limiting your actions I think maybe it's time to reduce en femme time. When I was first retired all I wanted to do was to be en femme. Frankly, for me it became old fast. I still enjoy being a man. I just left the dress hanging in the closet. As a retiree the best gift you can give is your TIME. Be a volunteer. Be a mentor. Give of yourself. I'm sure there is someone who would appreciate it.

I have a lady in a dress shop that looks out for me and we discuss various things.
If I don't go in for a fortnight or so she becomes concerned.
Nice to know people think about you if you don't appear regularly.

I am supposedly retired too. After 5 months of not working my brain was going to mush so it was time to go back to work. Been long haul trucking 6 years now and I still dress on the road.

I love this problem (retired and dressing more frequently).
