Hello to all. Been busy during the month of March, but finally got a chance to dress and get out. Put together an outfit consisting of a pink top (this is the second time i bought it, the first one i accidentally got nail polish on it and could not get it all out). Fortunately, i got it at a K-Mart closing sale for only $2.99 the first time. The second one cost me a bit more ($7.99). Matched it with a pink scarf that me and the wife picked out about 2 weeks earlier. Went with a subdued pink theme, pink eyeshadow, mauve lipstick and a subdued pink nail polish (got none on the top this time) along with a pair of hoop earrings, a black scuba skirt, black stockings and a pair of 3.5" heels. It was raining that day, so i had to don the umbrella, which adds a whole new aspect to dressing (trying to stay dry). Anyway, i decided to go to a local mall, which is not what it used to be 20 years ago, but then again, how many malls are anymore. Anyway, I went to JC Penney and looked around. Didn't seem to arouse any attention, being that i am 6'2" (in heels) or so and not the skinniest person around, i managed to select some tops and take them to the dressing room to try on. There were a few other women in there coming and going (and boy do they talk a lot in the dressing room, anyone else notice this?). Anyway, i took some photos. Pic 1 is the outfit i just described, pic 2 is a top that is sort of off white that gradually becomes a light brown as it descends. My wife does not like that top on her, but when i showed her the pic, she was not quite as critical about it on me. Pic 3 is a cold shoulder top, usually not something i am crazy about on me. The wife loves it on her, so do I, but on me, not so much. But i did find this one and it seemed pretty good. Pic 4 is a sleeveless top, which was nice, but a big snug around the frontal neck area. Pic 5 is a blue top i tried on. Blue is always a nice color and goes with so much. Probably spent about a good hour in JCP. Had to walk thru the mall as this JCP did not appear to have an obvious entrance to the outside. Anyway, i did not buy anything, didn't plan on it. Went home (still raining) and showed my wife some of the pics taken when she got home from work, got her take on them. I don't think i do that bad a job dressing. up close probably don't pass, but i also try not to interact if at all possible. Next post that was not possible, but that is for another post.
