My wife handed me one of her magazines yesterday to look at a dress to see if I liked it. As I was perusing it to see what was in this year I came across an article that struck home. It was by a woman who said she bought lingerie that she thought was sexy or just made her happy to wear it. My wife and I have had discussions about lingerie also. When she was young she liked lingerie that gave her a feeling of being sexy. I'm in the same boat. I like lingerie that feels good and looks good if by chance someone sees it.

The article was about minimalist lingerie. Basically the least cumbersome things. I did figure out that I have a few bras that qualify. They had a picture of one that had 3 sided cups and strings for the band and straps.

I think that as we get older we tend to wear lingerie that is comfortable and is easier to be assured that you aren't flashing everyone. On the other hand I do find lacy and pretty things fun to wear.

My girlfriends and I would buy lingerie that was attractive to us and also the boys that they dated.

Indeed I always choose lingerie that is elegant as well as comfortable. I buy lingerie from Secrets in Lace as their clothing is very elegant and sexy. It costs more but then I take care of it and make sure it lasts and I get good value from the purchase.
I enjoy the feeling I get from wearing good looking underwear and it does make me feel both sexy and happy.

There is comfy and there is sexy. If you can combine the two then that's a win win. Me I've done sexy, it was fun we enjoyed it together. Now I dress mostly because it feels right and so I go for comfy. Didn't always but there comes a time. Life is a journey.:daydreaming:

I do love wearing sexy lingerie,and my wife has bought me some in the past,we do love shopping for it together,Funnily enough I find I wear rather more comfortable undies when I'm trying to look more shall I say glamourous or to give more of a nice figure (for nothing more than to make me feel good),the trick is to find something glam and comfortable at the same time,but I find you have to shell out that bit more

I think the author was saying that she bought lingerie that made her happy to wear because it met her desire for sexy or comfortable. I think that most of us try to buy things that make up happy. I know I do. There isn't any specific requirement. I was in line at a store on Valentine's Day. The young woman behind me had a bra in her hands that had hearts on it. I'm sure she was going to be happy to wear it.
