Just slipped on one of my favourite dresses. Only problem it is slightly tight over my C cups. Easy cure just change to B cup bra and forms.

I also have a couple smaller tops that I have to use my home made forms, basically I also go from a "C" cup to a "B" cup.

Another good reason to be a CD. We can change on whim our total over all look.

How is this an advantage? An advantage over what? GGs? A GG would have bought the dress to fit her body in the first place so wouldn’t have had to worry about “changing forms”.

Micki, because if u shop at 2nd hand stores as I do? It means u can buy a dozen dresses for the cost of one at the mall!
And, I never need to try them on. Simply measure the chest and waist. If those r simply adequate, I know it will fit!:)
And, breast forms Georgina? What if your C's were too loose in the dress? No problem for me. I have size B thru H forms. I always match my hips to the form size. In other words, adjust my figure to fit the dress. Allowing me to wear everything I buy. If I don't like how it looks? Then, out it goes!:thumbsdn:
When u pay $5 for a dress, tossing it isn't a big issue!:D

I still wouldn’t call it an “advantage” as it does not put us in a favorable or superior position. Since we are at a DISadvatage from the start since the clothes aren’t made for our shape already, I could see maybe calling it an equalizer, but not an advantage.

I had D size forms at one point but they almost never fit into my dresses so I threw them out, it was a sad day!

Micki,
You are just going a bit too deep for the OP's intended meaning. Having different size breast forms gives a CDer who has those different size breast forms an advantage of still making that dress fit properly in the breast area, compared to a GG or someone with breast implants no matter how they get a dress (thrift store, gift or close but not accurate guess when shopping online). I do not see where she is "putting herself in a superior position to anyone. I believe that it was a light comment, so please try to interpret it that way. LOL

docrobbysherry, I totally agree with you on the 2nd hand stores, they are terreffic. It is amazing what some women will wear once and discard, all the best labels like Liz Clayborn, and at a price where you can buy a dozen of you want. I am recently finding D is a little large for a women of my age and have been downsizing to C. It seems to me the dress makes little difference unless it is strapless or off the shoulder.

Like docrobbysherry said shop at 2nd hand stores you don't always get a dress that fits just right so you can adjust boob size!
I typically get a $140 dress for $5 and after I wear it once I throw it out unless I really like it.

I hate it when a dress turns out to be too small. It's a big step to try dresses on at stores. I finally started doing that, but I don't always. I had to return one I bought on line that was supposed to be an XL. It was more like a size 12! Yes it would be an advantage to be a GG as far as that goes!

Georgina, trying on a dress last week and my fiancee, until we get married in three weeks, said your breasts are too small, no problem went and pulled out a C cup and she said, that's perfect. I have B,C, and D cups.

Everyone seems to be forgetting that genetic women can and do have the ability to alter breast size to suit a size/style of clothing much like a crossdresser. They can use minimiser bras, maximiser bras, push-up bras, padded bras, bra inserts, 'chicken fillets', curved back breast forms, etc etc etc. There is no need to rigidly stick with what they have, especially for the smaller lady. So not the advantage you all thought you had eh?
Jamie: Congrats. Hope the wedding goes well in a few weeks :)

I find a cup lower does wonders for button up blouses.

I needed advice / help with a new bra for a prom dress I purchased. I took the dress to a small lingerie store that I have shopped at before.
After she tightened the corset back she had me take off my bra and forms (D cup). Then she said the sides need to be altered (taken in) and she would sew some inserts (essentially a B cup) into the breast area.
A week later I slipped back into a perfect fitting dress. And it cost less than a new bra!
