Why is it that some women and most CD's wear clothes that are just not flattering to their figures. The amount of women/cd's that wear clothes that are just too small for their frame is mind boggling. Why wear something that accentuates your flaws/flab. Buy clothes that fit properly. And please, please lose the farmers tan, wear a freaking tank top once in a while. A decent shave wouldn't hurt either. And don't get me started on how men dress, UGH! Thanks for listening to my rant, have a great day.

Great rant. I couldn’t agree with you more. Sad. Most, around here don’t know what makeup is. What ? Comb hour hair? Look in a mirror? I can’t remember the last time I saw hose...except on me (lol) and they brought some unwanted attention.

People should dress and live any way they like. If they enjoy how they look more power to them.
Being a goth I have been on the receiving end of many disparaging remarks about the way I dress. People told me I was dressing all wrong and should change to fit their views of women. I dress the way I want and am happy with it. I would never tell another person how to dress.

Dressing "goth" is fine, just make sure it's the proper size without the dreaded "muffin top".

Thanks Gerri I've been wanting to say that for ages. The answer is denial. Most women are in denial about how much weight they need to loose. They just don't want top admit that their body isn't good enough for figure hugging clothing. Most crossdressers are in denial about that AND how feminine their figure is. Loose the weight, wear a tight top and flared skirt and we are all beautiful women. There is just no skirting round the issue, fat just makes men look even more manly in shape, it doesn't go on the hips and boobs, there is nothing feminine about a man belly and love handles. There, I said. No more muffin tops in the picture section!

Ladies my preference is looking exactly like a GG but at the age of approaching 70 it is getting harder to be 100% femme. I'm in shape because I run 5ks and work out. When I'm not dressed I look like a male 100%. I agree it's what you wear and the way you present that makes you look like a woman but really and truly very few men would really pass the test if we line five GGs and Five of our best CDs up and had regular women pick out which is which. Unless you are transitioning let's face it not very many will totally pass as GGs. I know your gonna jump on me for saying this but a guy in a dress because he loves to dress is still a CD wether he has a beard or is smooth as a babies bottom.
I'm setting here enjoying my time in my long dress, bra and forms, heels and lipstick and nothing else but a string of pearls
around my neck. This is a sleeveless full length dress and my tan line is showing and I don't care. If the only pictures we can post are the ones that meet your criteria then there might not be but a few posted. By the way it's already too hot to wear a tank top under my dress here.

i remember when i first started "(again later in life) dressing and i went for everything. i can make a skirt out of anything i swear. then i went a little more classy. as i reviewed all my pics i saw all those flaws. working in high volume people places you see your "how can you possibly wear that" moments. then i compare my manly up top square body to those husky women and i still can't wear a tank top out! so yeah, at some point you have to draw the line and accept (as a lot of us do) that maybe you shouldn't be wearing shirts where your belly drops out! we are in the age of yoga pants, i wish i could wear those in retaliation with my #@$% all there for all to see! lol...great rant

I understand that leggings are defined as "trousers" but they can be so unflattering when worn improperly.
There are times when comfort refuses to take a back seat.

This is a support forum.
You have no idea of peoples situations or why they choose to dress the way they do.
Its not about you its about them.
Constructive criticism is one thing but a rant does not help anyone.
