View Full Version : I've taken a big step forward.... into Victoria's Secret

Every Wednesday I go to the mall for my weekly Dungeons and Dragons, which I started playing a couple months ago. Each and every single time I am in that mall, I always walk right past a Victoria's Secret, but have never been inside.
I intended to go inside and look at panties mostly and check out the other things they have as well. Yesterday I finally mustered up enough courage to walk around inside, all the while waiting to see if the salespeople would notice me and offer to help. They didn't, and I left. Having about 15 minutes only before my game started, and seeing as how I only make it out to this mall once a week, I knew I had to make my move or lose out.
My mind made up that I was going to go through with this, without hesitation I approached a salesperson and asked if they catered to crossdressers. She said yes and helped me out with a smile and a very positive attitude. While we were shopping, I saw something that I wasn't sure that looked like a corset, so I asked her if it was, and she confirmed it. When I told her my bust size, she said it'd be best if I bring along my breast forms next time to get a proper fit. Since I was about out of time, I left without making a purchase, assuring the SA that I would most definitely be back.
So there u have it, and I'll definitely be going back real soon. I actually have the day off today, so I could go back now if I wanted to instead of waiting a week. Only now my problem is not being able to walk into a womens' clothing store.... Its money. I recently realized I have overspent by a little, not too much, and told myself I was not going to spend anything else at least for a few weeks. But then again, now that I have crossed a major threshold, I really badly want to go back to that store.

Watch out or you'll talk yourself into the poor house. I've had to pass on heels that were calling out my name and I know it is very hard to do. Only you know your finances so do what you can and hope that you will be getting that corset soon. This is my financial side talking now the poor side of says go get it ... Lol

Thus far I've been able to control myself financially and have always practiced good money principles. I won't lie though, that corset is calling out my name, and there are also a couple pair of panties I saw yesterday that I would love to buy.

I like to reward excellent service with repeat business. If it were me, I would go back and purchase something (anything) from that same SA. And the sooner the better.

At Victoria's Secret they sometimes hand out a card with their name and number so call ahead to make sure she is working that day.

Nothing like mixing dungeon and dragons and victoria's secret. When first starting out it is expensive especially when you want to buy everything a get a nice collection of things. So when you go back are you going to bring your forms? I would feel self conscious about bringing those through a mall and into VS.

Well done! The first really big step is to own who you are, and you found out right away how that pays dividends. The best news is, it only gets easier each time you go shopping.

My first time in VS was similar to yours. I did spend a little bit of money at the beginning but now I have a set budget. Now I can shop at VS or any other store with much ease just by taking that much needed first step

Update: I was planning to see a movie. My favorite movie theatre is located right next to a mall that has a VS inside (a different location than the first I went into). I called ahead and asked about the corset I saw yesterday, explaining that it was for me. The lady on the phone told me to come in to try on some stuff, and that she would assist me personally. I figured this would take awhile, so I forgot about the movie. I grabbed 1 of my pairs of breast forms and took off for the mall.

The whole time while driving up, I kept on imagining myself with a corset on. When we gathered a few things and took me to a dressing room, my excitement fell to despair when she told me it was not available in my size (1 more size up would've done it) and that a bigger one could not be ordered.

Just when it looked like the day would end on a sour note for me, the SA helped me pick out something else I was afraid I'd never get to wear.... a bra. Since I had no real breasts, and since my breast forms were inserted into a pocketbra, and since I didn't like the idea of gluing forms on, I thought I would miss out on getting to experience a real bra. I loved the look as I slipped it over my breast forms in a pocketbra, and I loved the smooth soft silky feel of it. The corset was quickly forgotten, and I got a few other things with my purchase. I signed up for the credit card to get $15 off.

Let me just say that this SA was extremely helpful and didn't care one single bit that I was a man trying on womens' lingerie. She made a dream come true for me. VS has most definitely made a customer for life with me!

VS is quite expensive. I wonder how much the markup is on their stuff? But since you're getting sized by the SA you won't be throwing money away on the wrong sizes. Good for you!

Victoria's Secret was also my personal big step. I remember nervously pacing the mall by the store one day and eventually made it through the entrance. Now I buy my underwear almost exclusively from Victoria's Secret.

I go in there quite often and finger the bras, sometimes I fondle the panties as well no one bats an eyelid until the money comes out of my purse.

Oh! yes, I go dressed usually. :-)

I have bought many things in my local VS store, most ask if i need help right away, and I usually say just browsing and they always respond if you need anything let me know. I browse, look through it and purchase, last time it was a guy at the cashier counter, he packed it all up. All very professional there and none skipped a beat in London.

now my problem is not being able to walk into a womens' clothing store.... Its money.

Quit drinking, smoking, or eating out for a month.

If you already don't do any of those things, quit something else.

Then embrace the Pink Fog...
