Fiancee no longer my fiancee

No, not a breakup, we got married on over the weekend. We have been together for 12 years, some ups and downs, but mostly up. We are so different and so the same. Met 12 years ago at a cocktail party. I'm a 6'2, white male (most of the time), of Irish Catholic roots from Boston, who's party affiliation was strongly Republican at the time (the party left me). She was a 4'10, black female, Southern Baptist from Virginia, who was a lobbyist for women's groups and staunch Democrat. We had a date and started talking and really haven't ended the conversation to this day. She supports me and I support her, she is the love of my life.

I don't know why, for sure, but when 2 people with so many differences (as related to other male-female couples), can develop such a bond, it gives me so much hope for humanity. Michelle, I told her before we moved in together to give her an out, she did some research and came back a few days later and said OK. Her research dispelled the misconception that crossdressers are gay. She is supportive goes out with me. A perfect partner.
