Hi

I read this statement by Adelle and thought that it summed my aims and thoughts about my own crossdressing:

"To realise and enjoy Adelle to her fullest potential - within the constraints of, and without risking, my other real life."

Does anyone else have their own 'mission statement'?

Katie,

Public spaces: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the stary eyed Helen. Her continuing mission: to explore strange new towns, to seek out new shops and new interactions, to boldly go where Helen hasn't gone before.

Beam me up Lottie.

My mission in life is to enjoy my life from here to the end. I'm 68 and turning 69 soon, started a running program and staying in shape to the end. Dressing is also part of the enjoyment but I have to keep it under control with just my wife and I knowing about it. My mission is to do just that but enjoy my life on the outside so when I pass on one day others can celebrate my passing with thoughts of the good I've done while living.

My mission statement is a bit of a "Highwater" following.

Where it applies to the transgendered aspects of my life, my mission statement is in my signature line.

Yes! Mine's my signature line below. As far as Sherry's mission statement? I surpassed that countless years ago!

I never thought about a mission statement, but that does seem to reflect my situation; Letting Gracie out as much as I can without jeopardizing that guy (and his family) that I have so much invested in.

Don't think I want one because things are always changing.
I always used the motto be excellent to each other. From Bill and Ted's excellent adventure.
But things and people change so if I run into people that don't deserve it I won't be excellent to them.

I try to live my life as full as possible. That includes having my wife's approval to go out on weekend trips as female. She knows but doesn't like it. BUT she gives me the freedom I need.

My mantra for long runs is borrowed from Yoda "Do or do not, there is no try". But I find it is sometimes useful for my dressing and other aspects of my life too :) Other than that I think my wife telling me "you do you" would possibly be my mission statement.

Don't take life too seriously..... you're not going to get out of it alive. OR I used to get lost in the shuffle but now I just shuffle along with the lost.

If I can call it mission statement:
I don't want to reach the last of my days on earth with the regrets of not done things.

I could have written that 40 years ago and I have lived by that rule ever since. Isn't always easy but so far so good.

Not really a mission statement, but if I need to express where I am now. I've handled my commitments to my family and now is the time for me to enjoy and be me.
