At work, someone left a bag of PJ bottoms and some shoes for a female coworker! We were all in the break room and she was trying on one pair of sandals and dancing around in them! She brought out the second pair and they were nice even with their 4" plus block heels! One of the other ladies asked what size I wore and I told her men's 10 D! They were 11's. She said try them on! I had my male support socks on and slid my foot into the sandal and OMG they fit! Now, I am not"out" to my coworkers but I imagine they suspect! I liked them but the heels may have been a problem! I was not about to come "out" to them over a pair of shoes! The one who got the bag said she could not stand up in them let alone walk and would be giving them away! She offered them to me and in a different set of circumstances, I probably would have taken them! Oh, well! Sigh! Hugs Lana Mae

I could walk away from "block heels" easily.:)
It's size 11 spike hi heels that I have a hard time finding at reasonable prices!

Send her the following text: I have a friend who said she could use those sandals if you still have them.
Then she can go a little bonkers wondering who they are really for.

LM, they’ve seen your nails and tops, right? So, just quietly let her know you’d like the heels too After all, she offered.
I love Laura’s suggestion. That would allow you to be just a bit coy :)

I would have accepted them and offered some feeble excuse like, I can use them to reach tall shelves without using a ladder, they will be very useful".
Any other feeble excuses out there?

Isabella: Love your multi meaning reply!
Tracii: I haven't swapped anything for a very long time!
Amanda: I missed a golden opportunity! There is a very negative person at work that could possibly cause problems if I came out! So I am not!
Doc/Sherry: OK, I will take the blocks and you take the spikes! LOL
Laura: I may but she was going to donate them to the SA! I need to get over there!
Teresa: There is a very negative person at work who could cause trouble at work, so I do not come out! So far they do not have absolute confirmation!
Kim: I may do that!
Beverley: To reach the back of the shelf!
Thanks Ladies for your replies!

Jenny: Maybe feeble! LOL
Sophie: Sorry to hear you had a fashion disaster! Hoping you have recovered!
Ladies: I have spoken to the person who got the sandals and she wants $5 for them now and I said I would take them off her hands! Should get them this week end! 4" heels, I might break my neck or something! What did I do? LOL
Thanks all for putting up with me!
