Well I am expanding my world. I now frequent two LGBT clubs. I take my camera to photograph the Drag Queens. I have also performed in their Sunday talent show as LMS and as LES (the male me).
I remember those first days I dared to drive to pick up a friend at her work. I was SOOO worried that someone (police) would catch me and take me to jail. Then I started propping up my cell phone and taking photos of my self out side at her gas station.
Then came that first 7 mile trip (one way) to my first visit to a LGBT club. I drove it alone. Spent maybe 1.5 hrs there then Drove Home. I was daring because I NEVER carry a change of clothes or different shoes.
Now I normally make at least one trip a week to the club. 75% of the time dressed. Yes I do have one person always trying to pick me up but I am not interested. I am just a person who likes fem clothing and to dress up. My normal make-up now is simply Wig (sometimes my own hair), Mascara (always), and Lip-stick (Always red). Once in a while I will do a full face job even once wore false eye-lashes.
Soon I will be taking a trip to Atlanta, GA, Maybe in fem.
Frequently I work around the house in fem and with fingernail polish. (practicing on doing it better). I do have some false nails but I rarely wear them anymore.

Hi Leslie Mary Shy, was interesting to read about your expanded world!
I'm interested to know how much time has passed between those "first days" and now?

Hi Leslie!!

It would be super interesting to see those pictures at the club. I am not sure if that is allowed in the rules☹

What do you do when you perform?

Love love

Good for you! Sounds like a nice ripening of your ways to enjoy crossdressing.

Shy Adventures ???

You've done the Sunday Talent Show in the same establishment as said Drag Queens ! "Now that's Talent!"

Soon you may be "Drag'ing" yourself back to the club Leslie Mary!

Getting out is a good thing. It's an affirmation of You.
Soon you'll take You, Leslie Mary S. , to some other place than a club. Leslie will go shopping, or to the grocery, maybe get the truck fixed or go to the post office. In other words, you become normalized as part of your expanding world.
And it's a wonderful world out there, Leslie. The clubs are fun and I enjoy the (drag) shows. I just met a CD friend and "her" wife at Hamburger Mary's last night, en femme. Had a blast. The real inner satisfaction and peace you find with Leslie will be to just BE Leslie.
Congratulations on getting outside your immediate comfort zone.

Mark; the time period for me was a short 5 years.

Valentina_Rossi; I would like to but With out a release permit and permission of the powers to be and relaxation of the rules I will not. I perform as a Drag Queen using lip-sync just as they do. I do not presently have wild wardrobes and make-up.
P.S. I have done Crazy by Patsy Cline, "Happy Talk" from South Pacific. Working on "Wash that man right out of my hair" from South Pacific, and for the male me "I don't work there anymore" by the Barefoot Man.

Phili; Thank you

Stacy Darling; It is more a lot of guts getting over my shyness, and stop hiding behind my camera. As for dragging myself to the event it's not likely,
Got burnt by the talent judges. Just have to develop a tougher skin.

IleneD; I have taken Leslie out one day for a self-photo shoot in the sun and then went into Staples without an escort of any kind. It was a Sunday, bright and clear about 1400 to 1730 hr.
Thank you for the vote of confidence

Beverley Sims: "Keep going out it does get easier." I hope so. I think it will and with the general public getting more of an acceptance
