Can broken garters be fixed? I have some garter belts and corsets that have the clip at the end broken because it was made of plastic. Do any of you know if there are complete replacement ends sold online or at fabric stores?

If online can you post a link?

Garter clips are usually sold at sewing supply places. But they are a bitch to replace. I'd just write off the garter belt. If you break a lot, be sure to get garter belts with metal tabs.

Erica

I prefer buying stuff with metal tabs but you have no choice when you buy most stuff new with plastic. Of course I want replacement metal tabs!

So does Joann's fabrics. In fact a number of fabric centers that have notion's sections carry replacement tabs. You can even get coupons online sometimes for Joanne's http://www.joann.com/

Thanks for the online links and advice! I'll look for a store first, otherwise online.
