I went to the 2nd isle of wight pride on saturday a wonderful day.
i find that every time i go out my confidence increase ten fold
except saturday when this went to a whole new level a young gentleman gave me a single pride rose and air kisses,
that is something i can add to my buck it list and cross it off as i was not expect this to every happen.

Carolyn

ps. yes i was dressed but not something i was expect at for a 63 year old who is in to female's.

Thats really nice of him.
Glad you had a good time.
I wish pride here in the USA wasn't so political and people treated other like that young man treated you.

Aww, that sounds so cool! But that's Pride for you. I look forward to a day when Pride in the US doesn't have to be political but even still, there are still nice things and loving gestures going on at the sidelines. ;)

First couple of Prides for me were really fun and people were great.
2015 it just wasn't enjoyable with the radical element there and 2016 was worse so I left early because I was not welcomed there 2017 and 18 I didn't even bother with it.

I only go to the Isle of Wight to ride the old tube trains.

If I was there in season I would have taken part in the pride parade.

I agree it is a great confidence boost to get out.
