OK, I'll keep it short I'm taking up too much space on here as it is LOL. Having a spell of bad luck recently when I get time to dress. Have the morning to myself and plan to dress up, get in some exercise and breakfast and around 9AM I'm in the bathroom shaving, with a skirt, bra, and boobs. Horn starts honking, it's right outside my house. Peak out the window. It's the bus for the church I went to until Mom quit making me 22 years ago. A friend goes there and is always joking about coming to pick me up. They are honking in my driveway. Oh God, is this some conspiracy, they want to save the deviant from himself? I get the boobs off and throw on some clothes and go out thinking I may have to fight em off. Of course they're lost looking for someone who lives vaguely around me.

30 minutes later I'm back in the bathroom. I watched a few makeup tutorials and I'm really getting into it. Do the best makeup job ever and I'm super stoked. Grab the camera and take a video, something I rarely do. Wife calls on her lunch break and I tell her I'm looking pretty good. She groans LOL,

10 minutes later I'm filling up sink to do dishes because I'm a girl now, (I always do dishes) LOL. Phone rings, its mother in law, their vehicle broke down and they need to be picked up, it sounds desperate. Oh Lord not again! Rush to the bathroom scrub the best makeup job ever off my face. Superman change into big baggy blah, and then rush towards the door. OH NO! I left the sink on, water is everywhere! AHHHHHH!!!!!

Throw a beach towel on it and rush to the door, get in my car, phone rings, father in law says, hey no problem, figured it out. YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME, do you realize how good I looked 5 minutes ago!

I slap on some makeup, look like crap, scrub floor, feeling a bit like Cinderella...

Sounds like a bad one. Well, buck up Buttercup! they can't ALL be sunshine and roses.

All jokes aside... Remember what eventually happened to Cinderella, She Lived Happily Ever After! Look back and laugh.

Interesting read and then I think I would bet we've all been there in tight spots and having very little time to get out of dress and back into male mode. I know I've had several times I actually set down and sat quietly till the person at the front door left thinking no one was at home. Just hoping all the time they can't see in the window and spot me.

I know it's frustrating, but you were able to go back to what you were doing. :-)

Sarah, I feel your frustration. I have an impediment to my dressing everyday.

I'm fortunate to have a situation where I can usually dress at least a few times a month, and I know others here maybe in situations where they may get a few times a year. I've been through that too.

Marlene: Yeah, I told my wife the story when she got home from work and she was cracking up with me, I'm so glad I can share stuff like that with her now.

Jaylyn: I've done that a few times, it's always stressed me out, but it's only really happened a handful of times.

Sidney: You're like a ray of sunshine, thanks so much!

Beverly: Yeah, after getting girled up again, getting the floor clean, and getting the dishes washed I tried on a new dress. Quickly took the camera out and took a few pics with different glasses and a hat, I had about 30 minutes and made the most of it. One of these days wife is going to come from work and find Sarah though because I keep putting off changing back longer, and longer. This time I had just finished cleaning the last bit of makeup off my face when she came home. She knows what I'm doing so there is no need to pretend, but I don't want to shock her when she arrives home from work.

Jamie: That's right, I guess we all do. Most of the time I'm actually pretty lucky and get several hours without interruptions.
