Yesterday was the start of the 2 week festival called Folklorama. I tend to take in Folklorama in both regular guy mode and in crossdressed mode. I went with a couple friends to the Mexican pavilion, one friend which is also a crossdresser and the other being gg. My gg friend (my life partner’s mom) and I wore dresses, pantyhose and heels while my crossdressing friend wore cargo shorts, t-shirt and sandals. My cd friend is so focused on blending in and mentions (or brags) often about her passing, where as I don’t worry about at all.
I entered the pavilion a few minutes before my friends as the doors opened before they got back from the restroom. There was a fellow greeting and pointing the way to the event area. I rushed into the seating area to reserve good viewing seats for us. As my friends found me, I noticed that the cd friend was quite upset. It turned out that she got “sir’d” by the greeting fella. I broke out in a giggle as he greeted me with the “ma’am” that my cd friend tends to highlight every time she talks about her ability in blending in and passing. She got more frustrated as she tried to wrap her mind on how I could have got “ma’am” and she didn’t. She does present very well with her natural looking make up skills, body contouring, mannerisms, and feminine movements. Where as I, probably not. I told her that I’ll trade her my “ma’am” for the “sir” if she stops teasing me of always wearing pantyhose and heels when I get dressed up!
