So assuming your significant other doesn’t know you dress, where do you hide your clothes? I can’t exactmy keep my pantyhose in my dresser and my heels in my closet...

I live with my family still.
I keep my stuff in an old shipping box.

I do NOT have an SO right now, but I keep a cache of en femme clothing in storage and the rest in my closet and drawers. I love to exchange my clothes from storage, as I did to today. I'm ADD, so I forget about many of the lovely things I have set aside. It's always a fun thing to do. It beats the old days of purging. Oh, my!!

I have them in several bags wrapped up in my supply closet at home. I live alone and have no fear of discovery.

If I needed to hide clothing from my significant other, I would use plastic totes and store them in the basement or attic. Maybe even build an elevated shelf in the garage above the automobiles. If I was paranoid that she would find the stash I would rent a small storage locker.

When I did have to hide things, I had a bag in the boot of my classic car in the garage, absolutely no chance of anybody else going in there. Now all of my clothes are in my wardrobe and drawers mixed in with any male clothes that I have.

When I was a kid I had a desk in my room that I'd kneel down and reach around the back and there was a cut-out space large enough to hide my girl clothes, porn, drugs, explosives, all kinds of swag. No one knew about it, I didn't know it was there til I had the desk for 3 years. There were also good spots in the attic. and we had a couch where the underlining was cut, so I could tip it up a little and hide things up in it, and I knew my mother couldn't move it.
If you're in an apartment, your choices are limited. If you could find some crawlspace or nook etc. and keep them in something not date-able, you could always say the last occupant must've left them. That may not be applicable though.
I currently keep my femme toiletries on the top shelf of my bathroom closet in the back behind cleaning supplies, out of reach of my shorter GF whose idea of cleaning is to call her cleaning service.

Before my wife found out I had a room in my barn that wasn't easily accessible so I kept them there. It's much easier now that she knows.

I'm looking for more storage right now, but my rolling toolbox has a side box that locks, clothes/shoes are in there, my makeup n stuff are in one of those fake books on a shelf behind other books, I'm afraid the garage gets too hot for makeup in the summer. I'm going to have to use a storage box in the garage as I keep buying cute stuff...

In a bag under my bed. Nobody else goes in my room, so I'm pretty safe.

It's a stange world, isn't it. Having to hide your clothes because they aren't the kind of clothes society wants us to wear. Madness :/

When I lived at the family home and had to do this, I had a two part closet, one side for hanging, the other with drawers. I was able to pull out the bottom drawer and use the void under the hanging side. With everything (I didn't have much to call my own back then), pushed across, it wouldn't have been visible even if someone had pulled the bottom drawer (with my everyday stuff in it) out, and no0body was going to do that anyway. It was all safe enough and never discovered.

Before I came out to my wife they were in an old speaker box in the bedroom of all places.
For years they were in the trunk of my car in a box under the spare tire, then in a case tucked in a dark corner of the attic.
At last I couldn't take it anymore and now they hang in the closet where they belong ... and I don't! :doll:

I have to wear suits every once in a great while for my job so I have four suits. I have four garment bags as well to hang my suits to keep them clean. A suit garment bag is an awesome hiding place for almost everything. Blouses, dresses, skirts, bra’s (with forms in one) necklaces etc. So now I have 4 suits in 2 garment bags and my stash in the other two garment bags in my closet. I also keep a good sized box for shoes, wigs and all of my makeup in the closet underneath a few things.

It’s to the point that I need to come out to my SO so I no longer need to hide and a girl needs more of everything especially high heels!

Dresses hang in the closet, shoes on a rack, lingerie in a drawer.

At the beginning when croosdressing I had just one pair of shoes, sexy high heels and some sexy short dress and mini dresses plus a lot of lingerie like garters, baby dolls, etc because I mainly dress for guys in a weekly meeting in a private club, so everything fits in plastic bag hidden with the spare tire.now everything is in my closet together with wife's stuff.

My wife takes me on a rollercoaster ride of acceptance <-> DADT. She moved most of my stuff from a locked trunk that I kept under stairs in basement, behind spare wood. She knew it was there and I unlocked it for her when she asked to see it. She hung it up in the bedroom closet and push hose and panties and bras into separate plastic show boxes. Over my life, I had things hidden inside a wall that had an opening at the top, in the space above a suspended ceiling, short periods the area around spare tire in trunk.

Geez, in my closet, bureau , on a rack , in a basket in the corner near my side of the bed. It’s more like where don’t I keep them. My wife knows and is accepting so it’s a non-issue

I used to keep most of them inside large plastic boxes around my room, but nowadays I hang a lot of my dresses and my wigs inside my normal closet to keep them straightened out. If I don't have the space or the clothes hangers, I roll them up and keep them in those plastic containers. Most of my lingerie and nightdresses I keep in my drawers.

I'm still single, and my parents stay with me.

My SO would never be in the dark.
I wouldn't want to live with that amount of anxiety.

But if I did, I have no idea where i would hide my stash. I barely hide things from my family, it's too tedious.

My wife and I are in a DADT marriage. She knows I like to wear women's clothing on occasion. She has come across an article of clothing on occasion that I failed to put away after a day of being en femme; a bra or panty. Since it is a deep DADT which means not snide comments, no discussions, no body modifications of my part, etc, she is not aware of my decades of purchases. I keep my clothes in at least 18-20 Xerox boxes stacked up in a converted garage. I have my original collection of dainties in my night stand, and, my armoire has a nice assortment of slips and panties. She never goes into anything or any place where she may accidentally encounter a reminder of my desires. If I should predecease her, she is going to blown away by my wardrobe.

Before my wife knew, I only had a couple things I actually kept and would keep them in my home office in a drawer. As a teenager, I had them buried in the back of my closet in a locked wooden box (that originally held three wine bottles which meant I couldn't keep too much).

I have a secondary question. For those who have a stash that is 'well hidden', how difficult is it to access your goodies, and how does this alter your ability to dress when you want to? I have been in this situation and know that it leads to being discovered because of the work involved to open your nest without detection.

It's actually easy, at least to me, since I keep everything in a bag with a combination lock of which I'm the only one in the house who knows the combination. Also, the bag is in a closet, with the zippers and lock in the side that is closer to the bottom of the closet.

My Dad had paneled part of our basement to make a party room. There was a space about 50 cm. wide between the new and old walls, and I shoved most of my things in there. Then they caught me and I had to get them out and throw them away. Next stash was in an old suitcase 'way back in a disused closet.

I used to hide all my stuff upstairs in the top of the closet of the room I run my home based business. Tons of boxes of stuff everywhere and knew nobody would ever bother it. My wife knows about my dressing now so 95% of my stuff is in her closet. Much better.

When i was young, i kept most of my things inside the metal box over the hot water heater unit in my bedroom. This way grandma never found anything in my closet, since it was a very small step in closet. As things progressed with my wife and we were married, everything went into a black garbage bag in the hallway closet along with the other things that we didn't need right away in our first apartment.

Once i got "caught" by her, it remained hidden on that shelf and then after several yeats, things progressed to hanging up several desses in the closet and a couple pairs of shoes on the floor in that same closet. Over the years, in our house, the shoes went into the basement on racks, and the clotches were hung next to hers in the closet, and pretties were in the same drawer as my other things

I have a plastic tote that I keep at a remote storage unit. This holds 95% of my items. the issue is it does not do dresses any good or the wigs. I am in the process of getting rid of this storage unit and have to come up with an new spot of concealment.
My SO has bought me 3 shirts and a dress from LuLaRoe and these hang in the closet. She allows me to wear these at different times the dress is when we are on trips however she is not aware of the bras pantie, breast forms and wigs. soon though

I live alone so there is no need for hiding. My master bedroom walk-in closet is full of outfits. I put up a rod in the master bathroom for nightgowns. The front bedroom closet is full of dresses. I built some hidden shelves under the top of my workbench. They can't be seen unless you get down on your hands and knees and look up there. When my things are stored there, they are in doubled garbage bags for protection. It's a bit inconvenient to get to, and there is not a lot of room (darn, no wild shopping sprees!) but it works well enough (I hope!)

In a big plastic tub in a hard-to-reach part of the attic. To avoid a marital crisis, I have put my stuff away and I don't dress. Haven't in a couple of months in fact. Prior to that, in our walk-in closet, but each item stuffed between several men's items, so it wasn't very obvious.

Sure would like to dress again though, but it would lead to a divorce, a price I am not willing to pay. DADT doesn't work here. She can always tell even if I don't tell. They all can, never fool yourselves otherwise!!!

It's a bit complicated. For now I hide it in the basement, somewhat hard to reach. That's ok for now because the kids are still young. I can use the tips shared right here to change the way I store my female clothes once they're older. Too afraid to for them having it found out ...

I live on my own but I'm an AirBNB host so I keep most of the apartment neutral, except my own bedroom. It's a business decision really. I don't care if people see my stuff, but I don't want guests voting me down on AirBNB because of their own hangups.

Panties in my panty drawer, bras in my bra drawer, slips and some shape ware are in a separate drawer, I hang my nighties, dresses, skirts and blouses in the closet and my shoes are organized on racks and hanging organizers in the closet. I don't have a vanity so my makeup and other feminine hygiene items are in drawers but my wigs and padding items are hidden away in a trunk. So hard to keep my wigs in good condition. Oh... my best girl and I share hose so there is a drawer for that as well. I think that covers it ... have I missed anything?
