Question for all you USA ladies.. later this year i will most likely be in the US on business and have to go to a few cities, I also will have a few days spare and want to have a transformation/makeover and outing somewhere really really great... so I am calling out to all you US girls to recommend places... I have some flexibility about where I am going. For those of you who don't know me I am quite experienced and have been out some 25 times, I just love transformations/makeovers.

Becky, I have had a transformation at True Colors in Bethlehem Pennsylvania, and can highly recommend. So if you are visiting Philadelphia, NYC, Washington DC, etc. it is doable. There is a nice hotel at the casino nearby that you can stay at.

I advise you to look along the Boulevard in Hollywood, there are a few in the area.

You have to get to L.A. first.

You need to research them firstand the same applies to Chicago, New York, Seattle and San Fransisco.

If you are going to be in the San Francisco area Carla’s is the place to go. She is located in San Jose. Great people! I had a fantastic make over and then stayed to visit over the Friday lunch with the girls. Highly recommend.

There r a number of T makeover places in or near Los Angeles. Tons of places to visit dressed there, too.

Vegas has a few T friendly makeup services and countless places to go dressed!

Sephora, if you can find one of their larger, stand-alone stores in a mall, as opposed to the store in a store mini Sephora outlets inside a J C Penney store. The smaller ones only do partial makeovers, like eye makeup. The full-ize stores do wonderful full makeovers, and are very trans-friendly.

Over the years I have travelled extensively in North America and have had makeovers at Wildside in Toronto, My Changing Room in Boston and have been out in Chicago and San Francisco (Multiple times). This trip involves a few places, as yet to be confirmed exactly, but at least one West Coast one Midwest and one East Coast... I will be aiming to fit in 24 hours off of Becky time, thus my generic question thus far.

I have known Beth for quite a while and she has a thriving business doing makeovers for T-Girls. She also has clothes and wigs to borrow, and will even take you out on the town if you can afford it. She will also take pics so you can remember the event.

Amanda Rich at True Colors does a wonderful makeover, and also has clothes, shoes, wigs and jewelry for pics. I got a few hundred pics to remember my makeover.

There's also Scarlett in New England somewhere, Amy in Las Vegas and Monica Prata in New York City.

If you need clothes you can always rent upscale designed clothes at Rent The Runway.

I’ve had make overs by Amanda of True Colors and Liz Taylor at makeovers with Elizabeth. Wonderful work by both. A third person I used was Phoebe Cross in suburban Atlanta. She also has lots of outfits and levels of experiences. I think in most large American cities you can find a service to meet your needs. Just tell us and we will chime in if we know someone nearby. Sadly, Mike "Jamie" Austin, at Glamour Boutique, in Auburn MA, passed away a couple years ago...he did beautiful "over the top" glamorous transformations...I do so miss him and his artistry

As much as i'd like to be able to steer you my way, so I could meet you in person (hey, i'm kinda selfish like that), I doubt that my home state has much to offer in the way of full services.

I will see if I can find that, the data might be old but it's a good starting point.

Victoria is amazing. I went to her last year for my first makeover. I am going to her llater yhis month for my first night out. Portland is very progressive and accepting of all people, and it is a pretty cool city.
