Hello all! I thought it would be fun to make a YouTube video on how to speak as a woman.

I get compliments on my voice, which wasn't necessarily easy to develop. Several years ago I watched a series of technical how-to videos by a YouTuber named CandiFLA, who has since disappeared.

While my video is not technical, it is fun. I make a lot of jokes, which I hope does not offend anyone. It's all in good fun, and I hope there are a few nuggets of wisdom. But, I suppose, it really is a vanity piece. I thought I'd share the link:

I haven't tried a fem voice in about twenty years,
I was pretty good at it at one time and was able to fool quite a few people over the phone back in the day.

Great video, I love it.

Thanks for sharing. I actually had speech therapy so I wouldn't talk in a monotone.

Cooking sherry? I have a bottle of brandy to deglaze my pans.

I was not drinking! :) That was in a different video.....

Judy-Somthing: You mentioned you haven't tried a fem voice in twenty years? I would bet that voice is one thing that you can regain. I bet you can still do it!

No, not yet. I just ate breakfast. But, thanks for asking, Marion!:battingeyelashes:

I have practiced and can sing in a vary high pitch but talk in the same range I've not accomplished it without sounding like a hen laying a big egg. You have sne good points though about the excitement.

I recall watching a prolific YouTuber years ago, Jessica Who, who spoke with her "normal" male voice. Over the years, as her feminine "look" improved and she became more and more comfortable with her feminine side (including showing energy and happiness/smiling!), she became very convincing, despite a masculine-ish voice. Attitude and gestures go a long way, I think!
