Today my 22 year old daughter and I went to an archery practice, and then out to dinner. On the way to archery, she looked over at me and said, "I gotta comment... I'm getting a really strong 'soccer mom' vibe from you in that outfit!" I was dressed practically, in women's jeans, a nice blue blouse, and had on a grey sweatshirt, because it was only 70 degrees outside. She said she meant nothing bad by the comment - it was just how I looked to her just then. Like a mom maybe in her 30’s or 40's, taking her kids to soccer practice! Since I am 61, I'll take that as a complement!

I think a special compliment because she was feeling you as a woman, and that means your femininity felt real to her, and was nurturing and maternal and protective and capable and all the other great things soccer moms are!

Tracy - Not quite. I drive a GMC Yukon SUV. Used to own a minivan as my main vehicle, but sold it in 2015, when we moved from Texas to Oregon and only had one driver in the family to get two vehicles there.

Take it as a high compliment.
I spent 12 years hanging out with soccer moms when I was a soccer coach for girls and young women.
Oh, how I envied those soccer moms and wished that I could be one of them.

Thats very nice. You look good in the outfit. Its a nice casual look I think the sandals are a nice touch.

Hi Ceera :hugs:, Yes we can surely see the soccer Mom dropping off and picking up the kids at the games.
